I purchased this fridge brand new in October and come April I have to deal with the butane tank leaking. Understand you are rolling the dice when you buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these fridges. They took a little work to get them setup, very good packaging. It paid off, arrived in mint condition! We pluged-in and let them do their thing for a couple hours. Nice and quiet, got cold, both work perfectly.

Sturdy fridge with glass shelves and lots of space. However, this is a basic refrigerator freezer. In fact there is no cover for the hinge (check photo carefully) and it does not easily or aesthtically change f4om right swing to left.

great price for a fridge this size, and with free delivery it is a no brainer ordering/buying this, and the delivery guys were extremely professional and on time, actually about 5 min early than stated time, only thing to make this purchase even better was if the fridge came stocked with food !!! Would gladly order another appliance from home depot again, selection and prices online are great.

I would never purchase a Amanda 18 cubic ever again. This one has wire shelves and no bottles or jars stand up. Keeps falling over. Food freezes whether you put it in the front or back. They will not do anything to help. Wasted 1,000.00.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has performed well as a good basic fridge. We swapped the door hinges to swing from the left side. That was OK to do. The issue is that the switch that turns on the inside fridge light is in the right door jamb. My son hit the switch when removing a larger pitcher of water. The switch broke, which caused a very extensive repair experience. (That is another story) I would highly suggest arranging the shelves to minimize the possibility of hitting that switch.

The delivery left a lot to be desired brought it in plugged it in then left

The seal came off the freezer door the day we got it.

So far so good. delivery guy wouldn't take the door off to get in, so i had to . but the fridge is fine and works as it should.

I need to contact Home Depot or Amana that the Freezer is not keeping the Temperature constant at the level needed. I have to keep it at the max temperature so the freezer can wprk. Even then it only gets to 10 degrees above zero.

This unit worked for about 36 days and then the freezer thawed everything intermittently. Surprise! The HD specs do not mention that the unit has to be in a controlled temp environment no less than 55 degrees. The compresser, seals and evaporator have been replaced. The next replacement part is the thermister. Is a unit expected to have all major parts replaced within 2 months of purchase and still not be called a lemon? I'm not amused.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator and had it less than 3 weeks before both the refrigerator and freezer quit cooling. Shelves were also too short. If you put a gallon of milk on one side, the shelf would cave in on the other side! Upgraded to a better brand.
