[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How wonderful my house looks now, I really love it. And Behr premium is just what does it. My house is now protected from the elements and sun, and applying the solid stain with my sprayer was so easy and fun. There were so many color options for stain, it was hard to choose. I can’t see any reason to get paint from those other dudes. This paint was perfect and fine. I know it’s going to last for a very long time. Everyone has their favorites, and Behr is mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been using a transparent stain for years on our log home and it just wasn't looking great. I was so hesitant to use a solid stain. I kept getting recommendations to go with a solid stain and was told by many in the log home industry that this Behr product was the way to go. I am so happy now that we gave in and used it. I absolutely love the way our project turned out. It is beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments on the house. We also did our porches, but my favorite is my front wood door.

I was so thrilled with its durability and cosmetic appearance that I bought another gallon to use on outside furniture at our cabin. Very pleased with product and color options are great.

This year I changed some windows which required some touch up. I purchase a new gallon, applied it and when dried the match was perfect. I’ll never purchase any other brand of exterior or interior paint or stain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 years ago, we used the same (Cedar color) stain on our then new wood deck. It still look nice, but small spots of bare wood we’re showing through. It needed no prep other than spot sanding, covered nicely and looks like new again.

I love the way this stain finish and very easy to use not too messy

We replaced slates on a bench we've had for a very long time. The Solid Color stain covered the ink stains on the wood we used wonderfully. Our bench looks great. We'll continue to use Behr for our projects!

I bought this to refresh my patio furniture and it was fantastic to work with! I had to give some areas a light sand then applied the stain sealer. It went on like a normal paint, dried super fast and looks fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I uss this regularly on new and old decks! Adhesion of this product is incredibly important. Can go over old stains or even latex paints without primer as long as its prepped properly. This product will withstand any weather conditions year after year. Key is to up keep seasonal maintenance!

Very disappointed with this Behr solid stain product. Did all the correct preparation and it started peeling the first year and looks horrible after second year. I have used Behr paint products for years, but after this experience I will be looking at other choices.

i bought this about 10 months ago. there happened to be a behr representitive there at the time, i wish i wouldn't have listened to him. i was going to buy the 5 gallon can but he told me 3-4 gallons would be plenty, i bought 4 and had to come back for another( more money). i followed the instructions on the can and his , now i'm looking at a lot of peeling and bare spots in NON-traffic areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the solid color for my deck, and it is absolutely beautiful.

In 2020, I spent over 40 hours prepping my deck surfaces, meticulously following the directions provided by Behr. I applied the stain in perfect weather, again, being very careful to follow the directions. I was initially very pleased with the result, but the snow melt of the following spring revealed surfaces that were patchy and peeling. Considering all the work that I'd put into it, I was quite disappointed. Nevertheless, I was still glad that I had chosen Behr, sure to their guarantee of performance. I called them and explained the situation, and after they asked a few questions, they agreed that the product was at fault and should be replaced. They shipped the replacement product very quickly, and I used it (after prepping the surfaces again) to re-stain the deck. At the same time, I stained our porch with another bucket of the identical product, purchased separately. Again, the result was very nice, until this spring (2022), when the melting snow once again revealed patchy and peeling stain on both the porch and the deck. I'm extremely disappointed, to put it mildly, and I don't expect that I'll buy Behr products again. There's a contractor going by the handle "BigFish" who also gave a review here and had the same experience that I did. That really confirms for me that Behr is no longer a premium product, despite the premium pricetag.

Not sure how to proceed. "Re-coat 1-2 hours, light foot traffic 24-48h". I have to walk on the surface to re-coat. So how does one re-coat? Would like to know how best to proceed. The first coat was easy to apply.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Behr waterproofing stain and sealer on a bench and 2 deck boxes that I built. It goes on easily and looks great after constanr exposure to all kinss of weather.
