Not what we expected

Very pleased with the quality!

I bought the 12 inch x scapes, there was a lot of digging to get them in the ground, but they are very secure. They do offer a 6 inch version, so if you don’t want to dig and don’t need very secure edge the 6 inch might work.

I was looking for a simple, inexpensive border for my garden. This was perfect.

Not very attractive. Looks like a bunch of gray sticks. Master Garden teak logs edging us better.

I used the border around the base of a stump that holds my fairy garden. It is nice and sturdy enough to hold in soil. Looks and feels like it will last a long time.

I’m doing a major landscape renovation and replacing most of my grass with trees shrubs and flowering plants. I wanted something that would blend in with the natural intentional design that would also be pet and kid friendly. I started out by ordering a few to see what it would look like around just a small section of the yard and liked it so much that I ended up ordering over 90 of them to enclose the garden beds all around my property. They seem very durable look great and are aging nicely. I like that there are slight variances because it’s natural wood they are not all identical the way that a plastic fence would be. I also appreciate the eco-factor (of not plastic). It’s only been a few months, but they’re holding up in the Florida summer climate very nicely. I buried them about 2 to 3 inches into the ground and they have proven to be very stable. I wore light gardening gloves with rubber palms and fingertips, used a garden trowel to dig my trench, and install them in minutes. Since I did it in waves I can’t give an exact time frame, but I would estimate that the process took me about 3 minutes per 6 foot segment. When I got to areas that did not require a full 6 foot segment I was able to trim the wires and make it fit for the amount of space needed very easily - commkn wire clips did the trick (definitely wear gloves during this so you can push the wire back into place). Highly recommended.

Like the appearance of the edging,now my next step is how do I keep it upright, no stakes with it. so do I go to hardware store and find right hight stakes, do I dig a trench, 3 inches or more. so the edging which I got delivered over a month ago, hasn't been installed due to winter snow and snowblowers I'm going to put this edging along a dry creek bed. I gave it 3 stars woul d have done 2 but I like the look of wood. tried to edit couldn't misspelled height

They worked out well for me. I used them to hold back the soil on a small raised bed.

We really like this product. It was super easy to put up and has kept the chickens out of my flower bed!

Some arrived looking worn out

I like this very much and will likely order a couple more. Pluses: Very sturdy (heavy, solid wood); attractive. Minuses: No way to make shorter in length (though I guess you could use wire cutters but you'd need to somehow plug up where you cut so the end wood piece doesn't separate from the rest); the 4 wood "spikes" that you insert in bottom of piece to stake into the ground are fairly flimsy and non-functional. But overall, I do like it very much!
