Worked as expected!!

Already did a review. Gave 1 star because it did actually cut wood. Only it didn't cut straight after all adjustments.

DeWALT absolutely must do better in machining flatness, coplanarity and alignment quality of the fence assembly. Having to spend extra time and money fixing the inaccuracy of a critical component on a brand new tool is unacceptable!

I tried 3 different 12 inch sliding miter saws, Bosch axialglide, Makita forward rail saw, and the Ridgid version of the axial glide saw. I sent all 3 saws back after only a few days each because they all had side play making it impossible to get a perfect 90 degree cut. I ordered this Dewalt saw and I'm impressed. Plenty of power, totally accurate after you set it up, shadow light is nice when cutting to a mark, ease of use is awesome, and dust collection works pretty well if you make the little dust boot a few inches longer with gorilla tape. For my cabinet shop this is the right saw! Super nice.

I was disappointed to pull it out of the box, plug in and pull the trigger, only to have a very noticeable wobble in the blade. I removed blade and cleaned all contacting surfaces, hoping there was just debris in there, but still wobbly. I went out and bought 2 more blades (not dewalt) and mounted each of them, both having a smaller amount of wobble. I almost took the saw back, but needed it right away so I never got the chance to fully decide. On the positive side, I do like the dual bevel feature along with the light, and it feels like it has plenty of power

We just redid the floors in the house so all the baseboards need to be re-done. My old chopsaw doesn't cut straight and I wanted something that I could use and make exact cuts. So I bought this. Great right out of the box, my miters are going together beautifully. I bought a miter protractor to help figure the angles. This saw was set up perfect. I have not had to make any adjustments. The one thing I thought would be useful is the double bevel. I find I am not using it. The angle finder is smaller so I don't think I can be as precise as the mitre table itself. But I am getting good cuts. The LED light is awesome. I just have to mark my length and it provides the straight line to cut do, no more getting my eyeball down there. Overall very happy with the saw.

Great performance, higher gate great for taller baseboards. Solid clamping for in between main stops. Great saw overall!

This is probably the best saw ever. You need this saw, trust me.

Great Dewalt miter saw. Accurate and fast cutting.

I had the Dewalt 12in. Single bevel for the past 20 years. The saw served me well as a carpenter. Since retiring I decided it was time for a new saw. I wanted to have the ability for double bevel. So I opted for this saw since my first saw performed so well. Been very happy with features and performance.

Did not need a slider so I choose this model. The XPS light system is “spot on”. Definitely worth the wait and extra money. Tested and found the saw was perfectly calibrated out of the box.

This is a great buy. Does everything you need. It is not a slider although if you don't desire that this is the saw for you.

This is the lightest 12" miter saw I could find which is critical for me with it going in and out of the van daily. The cuts are beautifully accurate with the stock blade and will only get better with a nice blade upgrade. My only complaint with this saw is the cutline light. I greatly preferred the auto on/off that comes with the flexvolt saw. I find myself consistently forgetting to turn this light off at the end of the day when its setup in my shop and I do wonder how many hours that little LED has in it before it burns out?

The light helps tremendously speed up the cutting process. I highly reccomend buying the mobile stand for easy storage and mobility

Consistently accurate cuts with this saw. Was set up properly right out of the box. No adjustments necessary. A pleasure to use.
