It was easy to put together

Its a beauty and a Beast! Love it. I haven’t used it much yet, as it was a Christmas present, and I’ve had other priorities. I mounted it on the Dewalt mobile miter saw stand, and it fit perfectly. Its a great combination for me, as I prefer to wheel it outside when I use it so to keep dust out of the garage. I’ve like Dewalt for decades and I’m not disappointed with this purchase. Its better than my old one that I sold when we moved out of state. Dewalt states that they are moving production out of [c-h-i-n-a] in favor of USA, a top consideration for us. I look forward to the day when my next Dewalt product is >80% made in the USA/North America. I’ll update after I start on some of my projects.

It’s excellent. Was deciding between the sliding version and this one. I’m a weekend warrior, not a pro. This is lighter and easier to carry and I am able to do everything I need without the slider. Highly recommend the XPS light.

Awesome saw. My only complaint is that the rubber sawdust chute will snap closed when I attach a shop vac to pick up sawdust.

So far it is great. I had some intricate molding to cut and I had to use every angle and did it with ease. Looking forward to using it on a basement redo.

Nice tool, however the Cutline LED would be a better feature if it were a laser line. The light passing through the blade guard causes shadows that sometimes make the actual cut line marked on the material hard to see. This is my second Dewalt miter saw and over the last 15 years not much has changed! It is a good tool for people who are left handed as the handle and trigger are well placed for use with both hands.

My husband and I are giving this to our son for Christmas. Our son will eventually be building a deck on a house he is purchasing. My husband owns DeWalt products and has been very happy with them. I cannot comment on this one specifically, but my husband definitely has confidence in the product line.

The only reason for good and not excellent is the fact that Dewalt only included one hold down clamp. For that price point they should have included 2 clamps.

Have had the slider for years. Went to a straight miter box. Love the shadow line. Accurate right out of the box. I use every day, I’m a trim carpenter. Recommend highly!

The cutline is not LED, the cutline is a shadow and does not line up with saw blade

This saw was accurate right out of the box. I checked the angles for both bevels and they were dead on. It stayed that way through all the cuts I have made so far. It has the power to handle the heavy oak that I was cutting. Just a great tool. I am happy with the purchase.

I needed to have it by Saturday you said it would be Wednesday plenty of time. I had to leave for a job out of town Saturday but it didn’t make it till the next week so I returned it. Had to borrow one from a friend to do my job. Thanks! Ron
