Adding new panel to shop and this is the perfect panel for my needs and at a fair peice

I am going to have to return it due to the fact it was the wrong one it did not have a main breaker

does not come with the main breaker which is not a big sdeal except for the fact that home depot doesn't carry the 200amp breaker for this box, you need to purchase it elsewhere and will probably have to get it shipped. huge waist of time.

This combo is great.. however, it has been changed since 2018. and it had a significant price increase with less included in the combo. They use to be price on $70 to $75, and included a 50A 220v, a 30A 220V, and about 5 to 6ea 20A 120v double density.. now it only includes 3ea 20A, and 1ea 30A 220V.. for $93.99 for the combo..

This is clearing out a GE panel that had a lot of issues. The bonding screws are higher quality and take a #2 Robertson better than the others did. Breakers wobble less. Not going to mistake for a panel by a higher quality manufacturer, but passable.

When you buy a panel, you buy into a whole ecosystem - of problems. The breaker screws strip before achieving their rated torque, there are few ground bar mounting points, not every GE bar is compatible, there is little wiring space for the # of circuits, and most concerning, breakers do not reliably trip on shorts. I nearly had a fire when the panel screw (not pointy, OEM GE part) made a hole in a hot #8 branch wire and the breaker didn't trip! I've also seen a bolted short take >6s to clear.

This box was a good value and works just fine! HONESTLY! ABE

It was a subpanel. I needed a main panel. Ran a meter to the garage.

It was easy to install all parts were included. Great price in comparison to many others.
