Easy to assemble. Fits neatly in our garage. Lots of space for pet food storage and household items that don't fit in house storage. Lightweight but durable.

Instructions could be better, however a single lady of 66 can put it together by herself. Took me about 2 hours, but it was well worth it. Love the look, sleek and streamline, makes a nice clean appearance in my garage, also purchased from Home Depot a wall tool hanging kit that is to be placed between the two sets of cabinets.. Two other cabinets with drawers purchased from Home Depot last year. Price is great, delivery was great, could not ask for more.

I recently built this resin cabinet for my garage storage. I have decided to store spring/summertime outdoor chemicals and tools in the bottom and my car wash/detailing stuff on the top. The doors open from the front, giving you access to the entire inside contents. Shelves can be positioned with any amount of distance you need. 4 shelves are included. I find that the unit is a rather easy one to build. The instructions are simple and all you have to do is match up the letter and number codes to the steps. I used a small rubber mallet to tap the pieces into place, though you could use your bare hands to do all the assembly. When the doors close, I notice a bit of give in them. It isn't an airtight seal, they are a bit loose in the way they close shut. This was the only feature I didn't like. This makes for bugs, dirt, etc to have the ability to gather inside. I like the fact that you could padlock the doors closed, especially if you have kids. Overall, this cabinet is great for the garage or outdoors. The parts are quality. It is very easy to clean and keep clean. There were no missing or broken parts in the box!

If you are looking for a cabinet for your garage or basement this is it. I needed a cabinet to keep my motorcycle helmets and other motorcycle accessories in. This was the perfect fit. It was easy to assemble and the shelves are adjustable to my needs. I had this together in about 40 minutes. Everything snapped together. the handles were the only thing I needed a screwdriver for!

It was easy to assemble, although I had to use a rubber mallet to be able to fit the top piece in place correctly, other than that you can get by with just using a screwdriver as the only tool for installing the handles. The cabinet doesn't look too strong, but each shelf will hold up to 55 lbs, so the more things you have in there, the firmer the cabinet. Otherwise, the empty cabinet will just fell too light and not sturdy. This is perfect for storage in humid places where rust would be a concern with a metal cabinet. Also a garage where water could warp a wood cabinet. Overall I think this cabinet is a bit pricey for the quality, but since it holds a lot and it's a good size, I would recommend it.

It was easy to install because all parts are numbered although some pieces you couldn't tell which direction to install as they could fit either way and once you clip together, they will be difficult to undo. The quality is average for this cabinet, but reasonable price. I think for a garage or basement they are perfect as they are plastic and no need to worry about rust or water damage or wood warping due to humidity. Each shelf holds 44 lbs and it has a total of 4 shelves plus the base which can also be used to hold items up to 44 lbs. The only tool you need to assembly is a screw driver for the handles. There was a little defect in the bottom corner piece, but since it won't affect the performance I'm not going to worry about it. It's mainly cosmetic, but just to show the quality is average I'm including a photo.

This is an excellent storage cabinet. It's modern design fits into nearly any decor. This could also be used on a covered porch for outdoor items, or a garage as well. I really appreciate the contrasting handles on the front, and the ability to add a padlock to the doors if desired. Assembly takes under 45 minutes and goes easily. Only a phillips screwdriver is need to put on the handles, everything else snaps and interlocks into place. Anyone could do this by themselves, even if they never assembled anything prior. The directions are clear and the parts are labeled with large letters molded into the plastic. The parts only go together in one direction so it would be very hard to assemble it wrong. It includes four shelves and you have the ability to hang them at a few different heights. I use this to store my cordless tools, chargers and batteries. It looks great and keeps everything well organized and out of sight. It gives me plenty of room inside to move things around and get the tools and batteries I need. I drilled a 1 inch hole in the back of the cabinet to allow the power cord for the chargers to run to an outlet and that worked perfectly. I will definitely be picking another one of these up to store more items.

The HDX Utility cabinet has so many uses. It is 68" high and 27 " wide. Lightweight and easy to assemble. Easy to follow direction, with all the pieces needed included. I had this put together in about 10 minutes. You could use this for so many things, great in the shop, more storage anywhere you need it. I used it as an extra pantry in my kitchen. It holds lots of weight and is very sturdy. Built to last, made out of recycled resin. Moveable shelves to place as needed. Doors have a place for a padlock. I would recommend this product.

Have you ever built one of those snap together models when you were a kid?Well that's what your getting into with this.Seriously its twenty minutes of fit and click. You do have eight screws to put in to hold the door handles on and that is it. Having a utility knife is helpful to trim over mold,but the rest is simple.Fit part A into part B and snap together. Once it is assembled it holds together well,it wasn't designed for heavy weight and says no more than 40 pounds per shelf..All in all its not bad and should work well for light storage.

I received this cabinet and began putting it together. I was about 1/2 way finished when I went to put a bracket on and it just broke. I called HD to see if I could just order a part and let me tell you, more than 45 minute on the phone, holding, I was told that a part could in fact be ordered but not through Home Depot but rather the manufacturer and it could take weeks - I said forget it, please lets order a new one and I will return the one with the broken part. I just hope it holds up given the part broke as I was installing it? The cabinet is nice and works well for my needs.

This was our third purchase to match another one we had. Twice it came defective:

Not very durable and the front handle covers do not snap into place, keep falling out

After an hour of trying to literally fit a round peg in a square hole (that was too small for the peg), we're boxing this piece of crap storage unit and bringing it back. Uggh it was so frustrating and terribly made!!!

Plastic clips broke to easy and not supportive.

I love that it's spacious. I love that it's easy to assemble. I've had it almost 30 days. It most definitely meet my expectations.

I strongly recommend not buying this product. It is extraordinarily flimsy and weak. It is lockable with a pad lock, but you can easily pull open the doors and break the plastic. Perhaps it is strong enough to keep a smart pet from getting inside, but not a child. Save your money and time, and find something better.

This product is disappointing. I knew it would not be the best quality but it is barely even functional. Multiple of the notiches that hold the shelves in place broke during install. The product is flimsy. We are debating returning it but the hassle of taking it apart after the difficult install is overwhelming.

The product is average. Installation was very easy. Enough room to store things.
