Great product for function. Very easy installation. Wish it was brighter. Kinda wish now that I had gotten the one with LED screen. Otherwise fine.

Did not say a where in ad or box instructions, it requires a C WIRE! Didn't work on my unit. Returning it.

Works fine. Wish it had a battery back-up when the power goes out. Also, the 7 day programing is a hassle, wish there was a 5 day/2day option.

Great product! I can set it and forget it, especially when I’m sleeping or out of the house. I also can get an allowance from my electric co for energy saving products. Home Depot was of course speedy in getting this to me. I ordered on line and picked it up in about 2 hours.

It was a lot more to install than we thought, hard to program. We ended up returning it.

You can't set this to turn on. It will kick in the hvac on its own when it calculates how long it takes to reach the temp you've set it for. Want to sleep in a chilly house and then wake up as the heater kicks in? No chance. You'll wake up in a sweat. It will randomly kick in around 3am. This product sucks!

I love this unit. It's perfect for whatever you want it for. However changing the wifi password on my router messed me up all night when it was -10 outside. I didn't know about the different functions built into the unit itself. I didn't set it up to begin with. After I learned you cannot change the password on the app, or via Bluetooth (why I don't know) and instead hold the up arrow with the fan button for a few seconds. I did this and must have accidentally changed it to a heat pump system. It obviously isn't wired for a pump so it read temp said it was calling foe heat, but nothing turned on. Then the fan would kick on and it blew cold air. Scared me bad as I can't call anyone late at night to fix it. I looked over my furnace, YouTube videos. Just one setting in the programs. Why those settings aren't available online Ido not quite understand. Would make a lot more sense. I hope this saves someone the stress last night caused me. Otherwise. Seriously fantastic unit!! Could make setup and settings easier to access though in my opinion.

Thermostat seemed very cheaply made. Followed all the directions and it did not work. A total waste of time. Such a shame. Honeywell used to be a superior product.

Great value and very useful in saving energy

I installed this thermostat as per the instructions, only the fan would turn on. It would not turn on the heat pump at all. The instructions say to change the system type to auto, but no such setting was available on this unit. This is being returned.

Do not waste your money on this device. The app is horrible and has switched names a couple of times. When you can't connect it to wifi then you can't change any of the settings. I've tried to reconnect logging on by laptop vs app on phone with no luck says device belongs to another user lol I'm the only one who has purchased this device. I will not buy a honeywell product again.

Never in my life have I ever come across anything this difficult to set up to my Wi-Fi F%$#@&

Second one I bought. First one lasted 4 1/2 years. Would sometimes start the furnace and sometimes not. Bought the same one as I like the thermostat. Use caution. WIFI is a bit tricky to hook up but I got it.

While the product itself is serviceable, it does not have automatic switching modes from heat to cooling. I only bought this model because Home Depot claims on its website that it does so. Only after installation it was clear it was Not capable of this important feature.

Simple to install and program. Make sure your c-wire is hooked up or easily accessible at both furnace and thermostat. Most newer furnaces have safety door and no power on when door removed so make furnace door closed after attaching c-wire so thermostat has power.

Had to rewire my 4 wire with 5 wire. Other than that, works great!
