It was easy to install, but I had to watch one of their videos on it. Then it was a breeze to install.

Very easy to install after watching a YouTube video. Proper installation instructions should be included in the packing.

The switch works, BUT, the original one was black, even dark brown would have been a better look. But, I have to use what’s available

After installation, it was intermittent. It was difficult to get it in the "off" position and eventually it just stayed "on" regardless as to the switch position. I will return it today and swap it out for the same item and try again.

Switch doesn't control receptical

I needed a plug in my attic for a security camera and only had a light switch to work with. I picked up this Decora switch/plug combo to fulfill the need. Swapping the light switch for the combo was fairly easy. Just note that the plug requires the white neutral wire. My original light switch didn't use the neutral as it goes to the light instead. In the electrical box, 3 white wires were capped off. To attach it to the combo, I used a 6 inch piece of white wire connected to both the plug and the other 3 white wires. Connected the other wires per the instructions and was all set. Works as expected. The light switch controls my attic light and the plug is always powered.

Exactly what I needed, easy to install.

I buy a lot of decor switches, and this one was very poorly made. In fact, I had to buy a second one because the first one failed after only a couple of days.

Installed an alarm keypad on the wall above the light switch and needed an outlet. This was a quick easy way to replace my decora switch and add an outlet. I installed it upside down because I wanted my cable going up from the outlet. Ground pin is on the top, but gets hidden by the USB charger plugged in. Wish there was another config available with the switch on the bottom and outlet on top.

Crossing my fingers that this one last longer than the first one. 8 years but should last longer for the cost.

It is a good switch, but I was surprised to see that it has no option for push-in wiring. You have to use the screw connections

Instructions were not the clearest they could have been. Didn't show how to wire for switching the outlet only.
