I am not an electrician by any stretch and this installation was not straight forward. We had a simple light switch in our powder room and no receptacle to plug anything else. On top of that there was no ground wire. We only had a white and a black wire. I read the diagram and instructions that came with this combo switch and was able to install it correctly. Now my might is working with the On/Off switch on this device and I also have an always power on receptacle to plug in any other item if need be. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed for a combo light switch for under kitchen cabinet lights and a plug too. It matches all my other switches and plugs.

This requires a 'common' wire to work. Some older installations do not use a common wire. Leviton should make this clear.

Perfect solution for shortage in electrical outlet

Pretty straightforward install, and solid parts. Replaced an older style switch outlet with this one. No issues so far.
