I have been buying this filter for many years and it reduces the chlorine. Chlorine has a huge impact on our health.

I returned 2 diff types and luckily I found this one and it fits. I was super excited but when it was time to use it, it leak super bad.I'm guessing it was defective since the part that connects to the filter from shower is super loose and water shoot out. Had no time to return so had to keep it.

I've been using the Pelican Premium Shower for 4 years now. The quality of this product really softens up the water and works perfectly on my hair and skin. They have created a product that works as advertised and does it well. Thanks Pelican Water System.

Municipalities use chlorine and/or chloramine as a disinfectant, and chloramine is harder to remove than chlorine. Many filters that remove chlorine don't work well for chloramine. In my case, my municipality ONLY uses chloramine so it was important that the filter significantly reduce it, however there wasn't clear information on the Pelican website about how well it filters chloramine. I live-chatted with a Pelican customer service agent and also spoke to one on the phone, who both told me the filter would reduce chloramine by about 96%, the same as chlorine. I was surprised when one of them said "We don't actually test for chloramine but it SHOULD work -- if you have it tested let us know how well it works." It struck me as quite odd and concerning that they would suggest that I, the customer, might report to *them* how well *their* filter works. I did indeed have my water tested by my local municipality this morning, and the filter only reduced the chloramine by 50%. This is sufficient for me, but I am disappointed the company gave me false information. I was also disappointed in the false information about reduction of water pressure. They state clearly on their website that the filter will not reduce water pressure, however it did reduce mine, and when I mentioned it to the customer service agent he said "Oh yes, ALL water filters will cause a reduction in water pressure". I ended up having to buy a different shower head (since the one that came with it is, frankly, awful) that has a 2.5 gpm pressure, and that improved the situation. Again, disappointed I didn't receive transparent information up front. It makes me not trust the company.

Purchased this unit about a month ago because I was desperately trying to discover the origin of a troubling skin condition. So far so good, my skin is improving incrementally. Rating is 4 stars because though the spray is pleasant and fine for showers and for my husband, I have very thick hair and the finer spray takes longer to rinse my hair. Still worth it to have clear skin though!!

We ordered this without considering shower head placement. It doesn’t fit in any of our three showers.

Easy to install. Solid. Nice looking for what it is. Other brands have the filter hanging downwards. The price is right, and buying the filters in bulk is a good idea. Bought it as a trial run at de-chlorinating our home. If this goes well, will probably install a larger, whole-house solution.

This is my second filter from pelican water filters and I really like it. It filters our water really well and softens it too. I've had a lot of filters and this one is better than most. I would definitely recommend this product.

I'm more than pleased with my Pelican shower filter and counter top filter. I have city water that at times has a very strong chlorine odor. Both filters eliminate 100% of the odor. I have used various shower filters over the years and the Pelican is the best by far! I have the counter top filter hooked up to my bathroom sink. Pelican's products are of the highest quality and look great. They have almost immediate shipping and great customer service when I called them.

This filter is awesome, completely affordable for it's life span and turns normal chemical-laiden water into a fresh clean spa experience. Highly recommended for anyone

Easy installation.

Made in the USA. Takes all the chemicals out of the water for your shower. Leaves your hair silky clean and you‰ЫЄll notice your skin will be softer too. Get those chemicals out of water out of your life and be healthier highly recommend.

Very well made product easy to install, works very well

Have used this for about one month now and it has to be one of the best purchases for my home that I have ever made. Very easy to install, actually took longer to remove old shower head than it did to install this. Based upon my shower usage, I will not need to replace the filter for 9 months, which is fantastic! I didn't care for the scented insert that came with it, but fortunately the scent was gone in less than a week. What I have noticed since using it: My hair no longer looks dry and frizzy. Before installing this, after showering I would apply lotion or cream to my skin and within several hours would notice my skin looked parched. I would have to reapply lotion or cream. Since installing this, I apply lotion or cream once and my skin stays moisturized until the next morning. Another big plus is that I could continue to use my shower caddy, other brands that have the filter hanging below would have meant shampoo, conditioner, body wash would have had to be placed on the floor of the shower because I have no built in shelves or ledges in my shower. I also like fact you can adjust the flow to 2 or 2.5 gallons per minute. I have it set at 2 and the pressure is better than my old conventional shower head. Awesome product, would make awesome gift for family or friends!

It did impact the water pressure. But I like knowing it's being filtered. Pretty easy to install.

It is an excellent product, works as advertised, easy to install. It should have an indicator to show when filter needs to be changed.
