The adjustment could go down a little more. The threads only go half way.

Replaced a damaged unit. Easy installation and adjustment.

I was replacing a broken ball catch in a door with a pre-drilled hole. The barrel of the catch easily fit the hole BUT the inadequate flange surrounding the top caused the unit to be pushed further into the hole when the ball hit the strike plate. I had with difficulty to remove the unit and place a 'filler' in the pre-drilled hole to compensate for the lack of a functional flange to keep the unit at proper working height.

The ball catch is a little different from my previous version so its taking a little adjustment to get used to

Used this kit for the spring and ball to replace broken pieces on an existing door. Fit well and door is functioning as before.

Have used the product before. Easy replacement .
