However, the availability of it depends on what size of inlet it is connects to and to what type of set up you are going for. We do understand as well that the standard hose are stiff when newly purchase, however upon regular use it will become more flexible as the plastic adjust with movements. We do have an available more flexible hose that you may use which is the pro grade hose the LA2570 it has more option on the sizing available for RIDGID accessories since it does come already with adapters that makes the hose adaptable on different types of RIDGID accessories. Thanks for writing a review and we apologize for the inconvenience. The suction and the blower of our vacuums work simultaneously and this normal on the vac. Your vac has a blower feature where you can connect the hose for blowing leaves or any other debis. You might want to consider buying the diffuser accessory (part number VT2525) that decreases the power of the airstream leaving the exhaust of the vacuum. This diffuser is available at your local Home Depot store or on this page. While most customers are satisfied with this vacuum, you may return the product to Home Depot store within 90 days of purchase. The WD6425 is rated 82.6 decibels with the hose attached. In addition, vacuums can get loud especially when used in an enclosed space. We highly recommend wearing ear protectors when using the vac for extended period of time or in a noisy area.
