[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product! Really helped out r grass fill in where the dog had dug it up. Good at keeping the weeds down as well. You can use over the whole yard or in a specific area depending on the needs of your yard!

I applied this for back yard about a week ago. It killed some dandelions and some clovers and many grasses. And many dandelions and clovers are still grow too well. My backyard is now large areas of brown spots all over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My side yard has mostly mystery grass. Thus, I decided to apply to one area near the middle. I spread with a broadcast spreader trying to stay in middle area. Some of the green died out, but the remainder turned dark green. I like the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lawn is lush and no dandelions / very few weeds. The grass grows sooo fast in the spring when fertilized that we do have to mow very often though! I always have a few yellow/bare spots from my dogs peeing but other than those small areas my yard is looking thick and green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not an overnight fix, it does take time but it works. First, you really need a spreader, it can be just a simple hand held one that you fill. Best to keep your pets inside until the dust settles, I used it in an area we recently reseeded that already was covered in dandelions and assorted weeds along with nearby established lawn that was more weed than grass. After spreading, you watch and wait, I did have brown spots over time because I really had more weeds than grass but now I was able to throw down new grass seed and get a better looking lawn. Feed your lawn not your weeds and see the difference over time.

Apply to a damp grass so product sticks to grass blades. Don’t water for 48 hours. Then water and watch weeds die and grass get green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fertilizer, greened up my grass in about 7 days. The blades look very hardy and healthy. Spreads very evenly in my Scott's drop spreader. It also keeps common weeds (dandelions, clover etc) in check. My neighbor (whose lawn is adjacent to mine) is jealous - he hires a "professional landscaper" who can't eliminate his dandelion problem! However, it has done nothing for a weed I have in my front lawn, I believe it's wild violet. But I've had trouble controlling this weed for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who takes pride in my yard, I prefer to always use Scotts turf builder weed and feed. It helps to keep my lawn looking amazing. Virtually all of the dandelions and clover are gone and I feel my lawn looks very lush and green. I apply with my Scotts spreader to a wet lawn.

Got a chance to go back and try Scotts Turf Builder and started to see an improvement. Time to get on the program again!

Put down two 43 pound bags on 32,000 sq ft of the Scotts weed and feed. After 4 weeks and 5 mowings still have clusters of dandelions all over that are flowering. I even put down Scotts winterizer last fall. I have used Scotts for years living their turf builder but those yellow bags translate to flowering dandelions. Located in north east Indiana. Put down second week of April with Scotts Lawm Pro sprrader.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently used a bag of Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed on my front yard. I applied it before it was scheduled to rain the next day and a week later I can already see the weeds curling up and yellowing. We have dandelions, clover, crab grass, etc. It has NOT killed ALL of the weeds but it has begun to help kill some of them. I walked over my yard very quickly so I may not have applied enough to do what was totally necessary to do the job. But like I said I do see it killing some of the weeds throughout my yard. Clover is taking over my yard so that type of weed is my main concern. I would appreciate it killing them completely but that isn't happening. Hopefully it does enough damage to stop them from taking over. The directions were easy to follow on the bag using my Scott's spreader. I just set it according to the type of spreader I had and went about spreading the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed on my lawn. I have included a couple photos to show how it is yellowing and wilting the weeds.

I tried this turf builder on our back lawn on the areas which were looking thin and weedy It is so easy to use. I love that it kills weed and fertilizes the lawn. The instructions are easy to follow. The grass looks healthier, lush and has less weeds. This is a great product to get our lawn ready and looking healthy. Highly recommend it

Our Son is getting a lot of compliments from the neighbors on how nice he has the lawn looking and he’s happy about that. This seed is looking great with the over seeding of the whole yard as well as a few bare spots that were patched up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our yard was looking pretty bad after the winter season in the Midwest. We decided to try the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed. I am happy that we did. This weed & feed is a weed killer and a fertilizer in one product. It uses WeedGrip Technology to grip onto and kill the weeds that you see, and even the ones that you don't that are growing underground. It is made to control over 50 listed weeds on the package. We had an issue with Clover and Dandelions, so this was perfect for us. We were able to fertilize since the temperatures were between 60 degrees and 90 degrees consistently. The rain helped the weed & feed stick to the grass and weeds. If it isn't going to rain you should use a sprinkler to wet your grass before you apply it, but make sure you do not water for 24 hours after application. The mixture itself was easy to apply. We used our spreader to apply it consistently throughout our yard. After just a few days I could not believe the difference in the colors between ours and our neighbor's yard. He even came over to ask us what we used. As for the weeds, it took out most of them, but I think we will have to use another application in the future to keep up with them.

As you can see in the pictures, my lawn is green and clean… While the neighbors surrounding me are riddled with dandelions. I must say I have the best lawn in the neighborhood. You really can’t go wrong with this product. I definitely recommend!!!

The competition doesn’t stand a chance in the weed prevention game, because Scott’s has the right formula to go after weeds. I would recommend waiting until it is consistently warm for a little while and right after cutting your lawn. This will make the product most effective. Also, make sure rain isn’t in the forecast for a few days to allow the product to adhere to the weeds.

Thanks to Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed, my lawn changed from all green to mostly brown. But it's not what you think. The reason for this is because my lawn was so overgrown with weeds that the Turf Builder killed the weeds, which turned my lawn brown. But it did not kill the grass, which is starting to grow back in the three weeks since I used it. I used my battery-powered Scotts Wizz broadcast spreader at a setting of 4, then watered the lawn, and have watered it briefly nearly every day since. I'm looking forward to using the feeding plan suggested - Summerguard and Winterguard later this year so I can enjoy my outdoor activities. By the way, thanks, Scotts. Now my lawn is growing so fast that I have to mow it every week or two instead of 3-4 times a year!

I have used Scotts products for many years and have been very happy. This year I used the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed as I always have. After three weeks, the weeds are not any different at best. Normally, my yard is one of the better ones in the neighborhood. People will ask what I do to get and keep it in such good shape. I explain I just put together a Scotts annual program. So, many others have started doing the same. I know my next store neighbor is one of them, and they are also seeing nearly no results. I have Bermuda grass, and as you can see, the grass has not yet come in. However, the weeds have.

I bought and put this product out 4 weeks ago when the temperature here was 68 degrees for a straight week. Against my better judgement I used exactly what the bag told me to on the spreader setting that the bag also told me to. Within 7 days, most of my Bermuda had browned out and died. The weeds however, flourished. It was as if I just fertilized them. When I put it down, maybe a quarter of my yard had spring weeds. Now, Id say 4/5 of my yard is covered in weeds and still spreading. I have worked my butt for 2 years to build my yard up the way it was. Now, because I chose a trusted product from a trusted company, it was all wasted. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Ive been used Scotts weed and feed every spring for over 5 years. It is very helpful for preventing weeds all summer.

5 monthly applications did not kill the clover Did kill some weeks but not all

I bought this to feed my Bermuda lawn and get rid of a few weeds I had. However, 3 weeks after applying/spreading it (Followed the exact instructions on the package), it has completely promoted and spread weed growth all over my lawn. I had a few weeds before ever applying Scott’s and now I have them everywhere. Now I have to spend more money rectifying this mess. Please avoid this product for your lawns sake, Scott’s quality has substantially decreased. I have attach picture as proof.

Make sure the temprature doesnt get close to 90 degrees at any time of the following days, or it will dusroy your grass. The one thing it doesnt discuss how white car, white planter boxes and light color pool cool decking, becomes a Solar Deathray when the sun is added to the mix.
