I ordered two. The hook at the top popped right off coming out of the box! Would not reattach. If this were hanging outside on a windy day it would be down in minutes. The second one never arrived as it was crushed in transit, which took me awhile to find out after two phone calls.

I BOUGHT 5 FOR MY PATIO LAST YEAR. PUT NEW BATTERIES IN THIS YEAR--ONLY ONE IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD--AND ONLY ONE OTHER WORKS AT ALL. THREE ARE STANDING DEAD. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I let it sit for two days in full sun before hanging and it lit up right away that night, looks beautiful. Only reason not a 5 star is because there is an inside trim piece that is loose and won't stay put, but not a big deal, the light still works and looks very pretty. Gives off a wonderful glow at night on the patio, have gotten lots of compliments.

They stay on all night long. I charged them the recommended 2 days and when i wake up at 5am, they are still on

Were very nice but the inside wiring was not connected when received on one so i returned them both may be the same on the other one. No so well constructed.

I have had these before and enjoy them . They are reliable and look good.

The lanterns are nice but will be returning them for a exchange when I return from my business trip. The tops on all three lights are dented also in one of the lanterns there parts inside that I can't determine if they are parts that came loose or are just extra screws the were left inside during assembly. Thanks

This product came in very good packaging. Followed instructions installing batteries and placing outside in sun with switch off for two days. Worked great and very nice light from led. Only been operating for 2 weeks so long term functioning is still to be determined.

I bought two lanterns to place along my steps to the backyard. I let them charge for two days and then turned them on. I've only had them a couple of weeks and so far so good. We've had several windy days and both blew over during one wind storm, so now if I'm expecting wind, I bring them in under the patio. I wish they were heavier, but they're not. The lanterns are a little big for my intended use, but that's my fault, not the fault of the manufacturer/seller. I had hoped these lanterns would light up the steps enough that people could see there were 4 steps (if I turn the patio light off). I'm not sure there's enough light for the intended purpose. So now I'm looking for small lights to put on each step that will blend with these lanterns.

No assembly needed. This solar light is a great deal & came with free shipping. My neighbors admired it and 2 of them have ordered one.

Previous reviews described these as bright and providing enough light. They look good. However, if you have a dark area, they will not provide enough light.

Followed instructions carefully and was rewarded with a beautiful candle glow at dark!

I've purchased two so far and they work and look great. I'm very happy and they also get a lot of compliments.

Although these lanterns were a little pricey, they are attractive, solid and give of a very nice light. We have found solar lanterns can be dim, but these are lovely and the light is bright enough to be helpful while creating a nice mood on our deck.

This is my second one, I had to return the first one because of fault wiring. The return policy at home depot made the experience painless. Since I had purchased other products from this company and loved them, I thought I give it another shot. Well, its been about 2 months and everything works great. I put in my front lawn and it looks great. Not too bright but gives a very nice warm glow which dose illuminate the area nicely. I am considering another one.

Thsize and style of this lantern is so stylish and pretty. It is the perfect size for my deck and lights up beautifully at night. The ambience it creates is gorgeous.

I purchased 6 of these in the Spring of 2014. I only keep these lanterns outside about 5 month per year (summertime), otherwise turned off and stored inside. So far 4 of 6 have failed with the same problem. The light will not turn off automatically during daylight hours. Consequently there is no battery life for evening hours. Apparently there has been a failure in the solar panel and the unit does not turn off during daylight hours. Customer Service at Smart Living tells me they have never heard of this problem before which I find hard to believe. They do not sell parts so when this happens you are out the $50.00 you paid for the lantern.

I ordered three San Rafael solar lamps -- one large and two small. They look beautiful, but we are a little disappointed in how little light there is. They are very decorative.

The San Rafael Estate Mission Solar Candle Lantern is well built and the candle glows for hours throughout the night (solar works well here in the desert).

They did not have a working model at the store so we ordered it over the Internet. I thought it would give a decent amount of light for one of the small corners of the yard and add an attractive light source. Well I was half right, looks great but a poor lighting source.

Just take it out of the box and you're ready for total enjoyment. This lantern is so awesome, especially hanging in the front of my colonial house. Can't say enough about it other than I'm enjoying it so much. Already got complements on it from the neighbors. It is made very well, looks great and worth the money.
