[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new washer and knew I was going to go with Whirlpool again. I saw the other version of this machine (the one with dials). They were both in stock but this one looked so nice that I couldn't resist. It looks great in my laundry nook, is so easy to use and remembers my last settings. Laundry doesn't even feel like a chore anymore.

So we switched them out to Whirlpool with an agitator and so far they are 95% better and we are happier. Water level is good, spin cycle is good and clothes are clean.

I am eager to see how it handles a comforter — I’ve never had a washer that had that capacity. I love the sensors that determine how much water is needed for the load, as well as how long it should wash. Now, if only this machine will last 30 years like my nearly-maintenance-free Maytag did …

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we went into the appliance center, we really didn't know which washer we were going to get, but we pretty much knew what we wanted to spend. I settled on this washer and my fiancé went along with it....he liked it as well. We went on YouTube and discovered several videos on this washer model, but one in particular excellent video. The video covered pretty much everything from start to finish. We watched the video a few times before the washer arrived at our house. I am thankful I looked inside the washer at the appliance store because inside, were complete specs (front & back) on the washer and I don't think the salesman knew they were in there. I asked him to make a copy for us (both front & back) and we were able to go home and review everything about the washer, i.e. all of the features, sizing, etc. things the salesman didn't tell us. The washer is pretty self-explanatory and we love that it has a digital reading on it. We also have a 99-year old who likes to wash his clothes himself so we were able to give him several "lessons" on how the washer worked so if he can run it himself, anyone can. This is a very good value for this washer, especially if you're on a tight budget like we are. We would highly recommend this to anyone. One thing I would caution, don't ever set a glass or anything breakable or heavy metal on the glass lid because it will scratch it and you don't want that. Take care of the glass lid because it is very beautiful. Thank You Whirlpool......this is a great washer. We hope we have many years with it.

I have cabinets above my washer (only 53” from the ground). The washer lid opens at an angle without hitting my cabinets! I have no room for a laundry tub. I can rinse poopie onesies and then set it to “rinse and spin” to clear out the dirty water!

It doesn't have a ton of action going on in the controls like others out there, nor does it have bulky dials. Yet is has all the features one would want. It looks like a sports car and performs like one. I recommend this and give it a 9/10. See for youself!

I’ve had this unit for about a year have already had to call in for the warranty it started making a scratching noise the repair man said not to put to much cloths in it so you can’t take advantage of the size or it’ll start breaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new whirlpool washer is the new digital one which I love! It had many options to choose from on how you want your laundry done. The best part I love is ,I can choose the water level! My old washer was a water saver,which meant most of my clothes came out with a soap residue on them from not rinsing with the proper amount of water. Today I can wash 6 of my husband's dirtiest jeans and will come out clean opposed to the usual 3 pairs in the past with my old washer! My whirlpool also has the agitator too which I believe makes the clothes much cleaner.I love doing laundry now and knowing my clothes are coming out cleaner and smelling better! I actually love doing laundry now! I'd advise everybody to buy this washer because they wouldn't regret it ever. I was happy to see my old Samsung go down the road to the dump!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered it in April and it was just recently delivered. Despite the setbacks in shipping, I’m so happy with what I ordered! It’s fancy enough to have all the features I want but not too overwhelming to have features that are unnecessary. I can tell my clothes are getting a good cleaning. Very happy!

Back ordered and then after four washes it locked me out but for a good reason: it must be installed with a three prong plug and mine wasn’t. If you blow the board and you only have a two prong plug whirlpool is not going to cover this. So I had to hire an electrician and it took more than a week to get an appliance repair on it to figure out what my issue was. But it’s a very smart washer and it works very hard and it’s very big. Clothes come out more wrinkled than I’m used to because I think it uses less water and it’s energy-efficient. It makes some incredible noises- it’s not that nice swish swish that puts you to sleep. No, it’s Er! Er!

this is so great! its smart enough to know how much laundry is in the tub and automatically adds the right amount of water so there is no waste. i love the built in faucet and the handy little pretteating brush!

I bought the pair at Home Depot a few weeks ago. Very pleased with the look, features and performance. I was concerned about the comments related to noise. My appliances are in the basement. I have found no issue whatsoever with the noise. The washer does shake during part of the cycle but isn't an issue for me. The panel is so easy to use. Having the matching washer and dryer makes it so easy. Always have to remember to clean the dryer filter because it does fill up quickly, but so easy to remove. The price was great, the delivery seamless. They took my old washer and dryer away with no issue. Thank you Jessica, in the store, for your counsel and help with this order. Very, very pleased!!! JB

Love the glass top loader I can actually see that the washer is operating properly within the cycles. Touch controls so easy to select & operate!

Now That I've been using my Whirlpool Washer WTW 5105 for a long time I can give you a review. I love all of its many features from the easy water dispenser for scrubbing a piece. To deciding hiw long I soak a load. And it reminds me to wash the washer lol. Thank you Whirlpool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my washer a few weeks ago and it’s great! Agitator makes a huge difference in the cleanliness. Previously owned a front load and it would leak with large loads. This washer handles large loads like a charm. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this pair in use for a couple of weeks but am very pleased so far. The pretreat station with the faucet is really helpful and although I had to study the instructions just a little due to the newer digital technology, it wasn’t hard to get the hang of all the features. I remodeled my laundry room and replaced a set that was 26 years old and actually still working! Yes, they were Kenmore made by Whirlpool. I wouldn’t have anything else. Didn’t hurt that the black and white on the units matched my new decor perfectly either. Only one negative I have is the washer is a little too noisy compared to my older one. All things considered, I’ll get over that.

After researching what was on the market, I decided on the Whirlpool Top Load Washer, based on it's durability, reliability and size. I have a relatively small space and my matching Whirlpool set fits perfectly! I do several loads a week, and have decided this is one of the best, and most user friendly washers I have ever owned. Multiple settings and water temperatures allow you to choose the best options. It even has a "towels" setting in addition to a "heavy duty" mode. Great product! Way to go Whirlpool!

This is 2 months old and is destroying clothes. I do not mean little holes - I mean shredded. Pieces missing.

We just got ours yesterday and we also got a dryer. Super excited about it! Did 2 loads so far and we love it. Want to try the deep water feature. I didn't think the washer got full enough.

Why is the owners manual I received for the load-and-go washer? Also, is my detergent dispenser missing a piece? Shouldn't there be a max/push tab on the other side ,too? Otherwise, after 4 loads of wash, no complaints so far.

The washer looks amazing and has many options and it was also easy to set up however If you put anything in that's more than the size of a 2-year-old Cinderella dress inside of it get ready for non-stop shaking and noise! There is no way to wash a comforter inside of it unless you're a fantastic and measuring out and even weight to fill the circumference of the machine. I honestly have to stay in the basement whenever I wash I have marks all over my wall from the washer damaging it! I pray that I can return it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a hot minute since I've bought a new washer, so I will say that I was very impressed with all the bells and whistles this one offers. So many features, but fairly intuitive and easy to use. We've only had the new washer for a little over two weeks, so time will tell how well it holds up. I am a little concerned though, that on two different occasions I've gone to retrieve clothes out of the washer and found an error message on the screen that says "F8E1 -- No water detected. Check inlet hoses and water supply." Both times this has happened, the clothes were soaking wet (i.e., it hadn't spun out all the water), and I wasn't sure whether or not the clothes were actually clean -- as I don't know at what point the error occurred. Basically, I just had to turn off the power to the washer and start the wash cycle again from the beginning. Not sure if this is some user error or what, but otherwise, I've been happy with my new washer. Also, I will add that I would have much rather had the chrome-colored appliance, but it was out of stock and we were desperate at the time we needed the new one.
