I found a number of items and went to checkout. There are no human checkers, only self-check. My total came to $71.05, and I put a $100 bill into the machine. I got back $28 in bills, and $.95 ALL IN NICKELS! NINETEEN NICKELS!! I asked the lackeys standing around why and they told me that the machines hoard quarters, and that IT takes a long time to reprogram them. This is absurd. No human would give you half a roll of nickels as change. These machines suck. It doesn't make sense to have zero checkers, but 3 to 4 'attendants' standing around doing nothing, unable to help when the machine dumps a pocket full of change on you.

If you have a Canadian Home Depot card you can't use it in the USA, if you have an American Home Depot card you can't use it in Canada, ridiculous!

I'm building a house, doing much of the work myself, so, Home Depot having qualified, helpful staff in critical departments makes my work better, safer and less stressful for me. Mike, who works in the electrical department at the store in Bellingham was amazing to say the least. I received excellent advice and left the store with my electrical supplies for my house feeling confident and very happy. One of the best experiences I have ever had at any Home Depot. Thanks Mike

I needed a lawn mower that is quiet, affordable, easy to use and start without dislocating my arm or put stress on my back; and this product had everything I needed. No more fumes of gasoline in my garage or the need of a gas can or oil changes or replacing spark plugs, plug a rechargeable battery to a outlet and 20 minutes later it’s ready!

Jeffery took the extra time to match some touch-up paint for my interior trim. The first mixture did not meet his expectations, so he asked if I would be willing to wait a few minutes, so he could make it perfect. He even helped me select the perfect roller for the job. Kudos to Jeffery and the Bellingham Home Depot.

I’ve bought several battery powered tools over the last few years. I only had an issue with one, but their customer service took care of it without any problems.

Horrible service on the floor. Plenty of employees hanging out watching customers struggle checking out. No help whatsoever and this location has an amateur armed guard that will follow untouched around while you shop! What an experience! Lol

Employees that were supposed to help people are nowhere to be found or they are together speaking one to another ignoring the customer. If you need to find out about a product or some details regarding a product, they have no ideea. More training is necessary. The on-store discount is unknown by the cashier or the machine if you are doing the check out by yourself. Even if you prove that there is a discount on the shelf with a picture that you had to go and do it by yourself, there still ara the eye rolling. Life is hard enough and the prices are high enough to put out with this behavior by unhappy Home Depot employees.

Larry EXLEMPIFIED (and beyond) some of the pros you have working there to help folks like myself who continue to learn how best to do projects. He backed me off from buying too big a can of the product I needed for a small job, shared his experience on how he handled similar ones, and was extremely patient. He even took the old product and returned it to the shelf several isles away! Larry helped CEMENT my relationship with Home Depot.

You know what to expect at these big box 'home improvement' stores. It comes down to the people (or lack of people) working there. Only bright, smiling and helpful people here.

I always have good service here, even when it’s busy they are friendly and helpful and take the time to show me what I’m searching for.

I bought an air compressor, Brad nailer, crow stapler , finisher nailer, and hose all for $269.00 (rigid). What a great deal. Lifetime warranty also.

Found what I was looking for when I could not in Canada!

Adam helped me to select the right blower for my situation. He knows the store well, and can describe the features of each product in a way that's easy to understand. He even carried the product to check-out. The price was right, and this blower works extremely well and does not annoy the neighbors.

I’m building a house & will be ordering many more items from Bellingham store.

This review is for an online order. I am unhappy with Home Depot because I (twice) ordered air purifiers from the Bellingham, WA store and paid for rush delivery. (Once related to this order and once two weeks ago) Both times the web site indicated there were several of the item I ordered in stock at the Bellingham store, yet my order was cancelled later in the day. Get your act together with the online system. Don’t sell items that you do not have! And don’t say you can deliver if you cannot!

I’m in the process of helping a friend remodel her house she recently purchased. She used to go to the “L” word store until some items weren’t available there and I convinced her to try Home Depot! Not only did she find what she needed in stock and at comparable prices, but we got the BEST customer service! Thank you Mike in Electronics/Lighting Department-you took exceptional care of us and everything you helped us pick out, worked like a dream. Your recommendation for security in certain places around her home not only gives her safety but is beautiful too.

In spite of Home Depot’s careful measurements, the Samson refrigerator not only didn’t fit, the ice maker was broken. Ongoing problems since purchase. September 2022, purchased dual fuel down draft range. Prepaid for installation. Upon delivery, installers said they would not install the new range.

Judy in Millwork helped me solve a cabinet shelf problem and even walked me to the shelf products as well as looked up the brackets online I would need.

I went looking for 2x8x10 treated lumber, and no one had any on the shelf. Home Depot had some up top, and the associates grabbed it, helped me load 25 boards for check out, and helped me load my truck. They were amazing!
