Home Depot Charles is one of the many typical employees but WOW can he assist. I got what I wanted with his assistance and didn't wait or run around asking for help. The floors are manned beautifully. I hate a store when alll that is available is one customer service station plus just a couple of cashiers at the front of the store. Those stores mean I can expect a whole lot of running more wait time and less knowledge by those who have cashier knowlege but nothing of being on the floor or product knowlege. Charles is an example of good knowledge assisting us customers on the floor.

Yesterday, Charles in plumbing spent a great deal of time assisting me in selecting supplies to replace my kitchen sink. He returned later just to check on me as i struggled with decisions. I also needed paint and that department was busy so he helped there as well. His service could not have been better

This store is awesome!!! If you want a great experience go to the door section and see Heather. She provides world class customer service and her knowledge and enthusiasm cannot be beat.

Great customer service and wonderful employees. Very organized and clean as well!! Taylor made my experience exceptional.

Too many self checkouts. I miss seeing all the cashiers.

I hate the self service mentality they have gone to.

Jane helped me and really went out of her way. She walked me to both areas of the store where I needed products and took time to explain the intricacies of the kitchen I chose.

The garden associate who helped us was very nice. When we got to the check stand things changed. The cashier Leah was very rude! She would not help us with our issue and refused to call any manager other than Wayne who had left and she knew that because I heard several people tell her so. I had to go over to the paint desk and ask if there were any managers on duty and Sam said 3. He called Justin and Justin helped us immediately. Before Justin came though the cashier Leah even went so far as to say to me “yes I can give you a discount but it is up to me and I don’t want to.” She works in customer service and without calling a manager she can give us a discount. Instead she waisted everyone’s time!!!! We were there for an hour! If that is what Home Depot wants their regular contractors going through then I will shop elsewhere. If it wasn’t for Sam and Justin I would not go back. It’s easy for one mean and nasty associate to chase big money customers away. Definitely not someone who I would EVER have working for me especially in a customer service position that is for sure. I have owned my construction company for 30 years and I have spent over $1,000,000 in this store alone. Leah even swiped my contractor card and could see how much I spend here. Plus I have remodeled my own home using cash and spent about $100,000 putting in a Hertco Kitchen ($60,000) with Caesar Stone slab quartz countertops, the only brand made in America. Plus two additions on each end of my house.

Our family loves Home Depot and it's the only place we shop, always have what we want, and everyone is so friendly and helpful

This store is very nice and well organized. I enjoy shopping there and sometimes I find myself just wondering through the store. I just never know what I can discover. I recommend this place and if you don't have time the people there are amazing. They will help you.

I am an Electrical Contractor that basically visits the Bellingham Home Depot at least minimum 5 days a week for the past 3 years. I get about 90% of my material from this Home Depot and can honestly attest to the excellent customer service that my company receives there from people like Mike Doggett who runs the Electrical dept. My advice to anyone that wants to save themselves some money by doing some light electrical work on their home to go see Mike Doggett for advice about what you need to do and if he feels it might be too risky for someone with no experience he will also let you know that too. Mike can recommend one of Home Depot's Pro Contractors that are signed up and vetted through Home Depot as well as fair and very knowledgeable to help with such projects. Give Mike a chance before anything else. For any contractors, they will have an excellent experience checking out at the contractor desk thanks to people like Homa, Justina, Jen, Dana whom which have cheerful energy about them and will not leave you waiting long.

Big box store, yes, but the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. And they allow puppers!

This store is a mess with the new customer service area. Never enough employees and just messy.

For years I've been shopping Home Depot. They are my go to " Home". If I don't want to hang out in the store, I hang out online, relaxed shopping at its best.

Leela is one of my favorite checkout people. I feel that she is a friend and not just some employee moving you through the line.

The store was clean and staff was generally helpful. The checkout was a waste of time. There was only one non self serve checkout open when I wanted to leave. There was a lineup and considerable delay. If I had not needed the stuff I selected like for today, I would have left the stuff there and walked out. I will probably be shopping Lowes in the future as they seem to have more cashiers and less reliant on the self serve check outs that displace real people.

I am impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the employees at our Home Depot. I was in today and they were SO extremely helpful. The paint department (especially Ben) were really a life saver for my paint dilemma. Home Depot will be my go to home improvement store from now on.

Great store! Had everything I was looking for. Home Depot always does! The only thing I will say is there could have been more humans at the checkout. I know automation is saving Home Depot money and all but it seemed a bit much. Also charging extra for bags when a customer spends 500 to 1000 dollars is the rudest thing I’ve ever heard of.

The bushes smelled like poop. Homeless trash on side of building.

Have always had a good experience at this store, very easy to return items you didn't need or if they were damaged in the packaging. The cashiers are always friendly and the associates are always helpful.

This store just went to all self-checkout. I won't be shopping there anymore.

If they don't have it , you don't need it.
