Excellent store to buy what you need. I purchased a Gas grill that was marked @ 50% discount, this was great and I was not expecting to find a deal like this one. The salesperson made sure that it was correct price.

It's a Great Store for all types of Jobs and the Layout easy to get to

Convenient, pleasant staff, fair prices and typically a good variety of products.

I recently had to remodel one of our bedrooms and strip and paint my deck the associate in the paint department was really knowledgeable and gave me some really good tips on the amount of paint I needed for the square footage and saved me from buying to much paint. I'm good at painting but to be honest here it is not my favorite, so I was more than happy to get good tips from the professional in the paint department.

This store has a pleasant atmosphere and always have the products I need when I need them. I would like to mention the cashier for her assistance, another great reason to shop here. Makeda is a wonderful asset to your store. Keep up the great work.

I had 2 Franks help me, Frank in hardware and Frank at self checkout. Both we quick and knowlwdgable. Frank in hardware got me what i needed quickly and Frank at self checkout got me and 3 other people out quickly.

I was greeted by the front desk on the way into the store. I was asked if I needed help in the tool department, I also received assistance in the screw department. I then proceeded to ask for assistance in the stair, tread and railing department and all of my questions were answered. Overall I like this Home Depot because I receive great service there.

Was given bad information and overcharged

Cashier Adam is an asset to this store. He made my shopping experience pleasant.

LACK OF CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE WHEN YOU A FEMALE you have do everything by yourself just know assioates walk past you and don't bother to assist.

Staff helping in aisles are great. Register people have been a problem for years. Not sure if it’s a lack of training, interest in jobs, or just trying to move the customer too quickly, but when the customer says they want both paper and printed receipts, goes to hit the button, and the cashier hits no before the customer can even make a selection (on her end), that is extremely poor cash out service. Also, few of the register people even know how one can do a credit instead of debit on ringout. Train your employees or remove those that don’t want to do their job and learn their positions. It’s not that hard with all the people looking right now. The front end hurts the great back end staff you have at this store.

Store associates all know where most things are

The staff at the Berlin, CT Home Depot is always willing to help. On more than one occasion, they have gone out of their way to assist in getting a problem solved or helping to come up with a home repair solution.

Dirty store and lighting displays. Few staff and when I asked about help in the lighting area to a crew member, he never offered to get us help making this an unfriendly store. Two thumbs down....

Had a real terrible morning dealing with a company who upon delivery, decided to charge me all sorts of charges to deliver a dryer I had purchased. After a half an hour arguing with the company for false advertising, I received my money back and went right to Home Depot. Margarita took me under her wing so to speak. We picked out what I needed, she set up everything for me, no hassles no extra costs. She was kind, friendly, considerate. I would definitely come back again.

Great Store, very friendly and helpful staff

After waiting 20 mins for someone to assist me. And then another worker hanging up on Adam after asking for help with my Christmas tree Adam and Johnathan (2 people who were not working the area) stepped up and took care of me. They were great!

Poor customer service. I stood waiting for service at the paint department. There was no attendant. Meanwhile, two employees within immediate proximity to me, did nothing to get someone to the paint department to assist me.

Customer service this morning at the Home Depot in Berlin was Poor !! and I mean Poor especially at the Self check out associate was rude and not helpfully at all.

Very helpful and cooperative people in the Tool Department...went out of their way to solve my problem and did so in a very courteous and profesisonal manner. In today's environment, that is truly a breath of fresh air!

I like the Berlin store. I've been shopping there for 8 years. While some of the new employees could be a bit more helpful, the "seasoned" employees who have been there a couple years are always helpful. Unfortunately, in the last year the store does not look as clean and orderly as it has previously, but hopefully the management team will address that soon.

I visit this store quite often, certainly monthly. I alway find what I am looking for. The staff has always be helpful and cordial. Today I witnessed Louanne giving store directions to a customer for merchandize 5 aisles away - she seems to know the store well. In fact, nearly every employee I've dealt with is similarly knowledgeable. Store is always clean and easy to get through with the occasional ladder device to "sneak" around. Good store; good people; good products.
