All the employees go out of their way to help! As someone who isn't particularly handy or knowledgeable, this was very important. I came in to browse for paint and ended up learning a lot about prepping my walls. And the associate recommended a product that was only $5, so I know it wasn't just a sales pitch. Very helpful employees here!!

I have gone to this store often and it is always clean and their employees are very helpful. Now during this pandemic all the employees have masks on, keep their distance and also the store provides hand sanitizer all over the store.

As lumber stores go, the C R Home Depot location is a good and their prices are competive.

Don from the Paint Department was the most helpful person in trying to pick out colors for our nursery. I have no knowledge about colors and the science behind it, but he did. He knew what colors would fit well together and blend well. I was highly impressed. Thank you so much Don! Thank you Haley for the excellent guest service and suggestions for other things. Cedar Rapids Iowa store is always very helpful

Employees are always helpful and if they can’t answer your question they will find another employee who can.

I found the customer service counter to very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help out with many aspects of my purchase of flooring and more. Made our flooded basement turned into a positive experience. A+

Sales associates in the appliance area need more training on the computer system. The individual we worked with had us waiting for over 20 minutes while he tried to figure out what to do. We suggested he ask someone for help and he said we "needed to have some patience." Also, definitely needs some training on customer service interactions. We have shopped at this store many times and this was the poorest customer service we have ever received. We will go back in the future and hopefully they recognize and address these concerns.

The worst customer service on line and in the store I have ever experienced!!!

In my 14 years of working at The Home Depot I have not written a review that was not 100% complimentary. I did not have a great experience at the returns/service desk. Granted I did not have a receipt for a cash transaction because I am on vacation visiting family here in Iowa. I am from Florida, I am also a 14 year Associate/Department Supervisor at the Home Depot. I had purchased the wrong item as a gift for my granddaughter and I wanted to exchange the product. I know our return policy, having worked the service desk for 9 years. I was made to feel like I was a thief and they denied my return. I had to call the store to speak to a MOD. Her name was Nadia, she was wonderful. I explained what had happened and she met me in the electrical aisle as I had not left the store yet. She was everything that you would want to greet you after a terrible experience with two other employees that were nothing but rude! We talked and had pleasantries while bringing me and my granddaughter to the service desk to fix my transaction from start to finish. Thank you Nadia for all your help, more associates like you are needed! I think that someone needs to discuss with the customer service department about their attitudes and judgement on people that come into the store they may be fellow Home Depot family and you never know who is on the other side of the counter! Nadia did make everything right for my transaction, however being made to feel like I did and to be dismissed like I was it’s a little hard for me to move past this. I will be happy to return to my Happy store in Florida.. Sadly.. Home Depot veteran

Shopped here at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday. Of the > 20 employees I saw while in store, none were wearing a face mask and several were within 3 feet of customers and/or shoppers. No hand sanitizer at self check out.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Customer service was terrible. The store associates spent more time talking to each other then actually helping. I asked one of them for assistance and they told he could not help me because he was busy doing something, did not find anyone to help me, and then lead me to the wrong aisle. I would not recommend going to this store at all.

This store may be tucked out of the way, but it has everything that is important in a home improvement supply store. The people are always helpful and actually know what they are talking about and know where stuff is - unlike other stores (menards and Lowes) where they "think that is in isle...." but end up walking around without a clue as to where the item I am looking for is located or if they even stock it.

We went to shop for some garden plants, looked around the home appliances department and with the help of an awesome friendly employee Mr Bill we got an awesome deal on a washer thanks Mr. Bill.

When I went to customer service to pick up an on-line order, I was happily greeted by a woman who was pleasant and very nice. Kuddos to her. I happened to notice a male employee (David) leaning on bags or boxes next to the customer service counter when I entered. The entire time I was being assisted, he did nothing. I told the woman at Customer Service that I had some additional shopping to do and she suggested I leave the 80# bag of Quickcrete and pick it up when I finished. After finishing my checkout, I went back to retrieve the bag of Quickcrete from Customer Service. David was still leaning in the same spot - 30 minute later! Unfortunately, the bag was behind a "safety fence" and I did not know if I could just go behind it and get my merch. So, I asked David if he could assist.- he barely raised his head and with his dark tinted glasses, I could not tell if he was even looking my direction. So I politely asked a 2nd time if he could help. I still could not tell if he acknowledged me and so I stepped closer and asked if he had heard my request. He flippedly said, "Why do you have to say that to me?". To which I replied, "Well, I asked you for help and I couldn't tell if you heard me because there was no interaction from you". Much to my amazement, he responded with (literally), "I don't have to interact with you. Get in that line". Fortunately, the nice lady behind the counter overheard David's rude response and looked at me and said, 'You're good! Go ahead". I went behind the safety fence and retrieved the bag of Quickcrete. David was still standing in the same spot when I walked out - as if he was watching paint dry. Very rude, no asisstance - why is he on the payroll?? The only reason I still recommend this store is because this interaction was the exception to my experiences at Home Depot, which have been positive up to this point.

Always get excellent service the employees here are patient and knowledgeable, I don't ever leave feeling like I was rushed or put down since I'm not really the "handy" type. My husband is the handy type, this is his go to store for all our home projects, which we always have and then some. Thank you Home Depot.
