Very good experience shopping here, staff are very nice, someone can speak Chinese, that will help some senior people who can not speak English well, good communication, very patient with customers, strong recommend it!

Staff does not know their store well so it's hard to find what you want. Also when the barcode was missing on a item, staff did not helped us. They made us to go get another one. If they don't help us, why they exist????

Not all Home Depot stores are the same. The Fremont store has great customer service and knowledgeable, competent Managers that know what "customer service" is all about.

Management extremely rude and slanderfull of guests in front of customers in line. Do not shop here. One day this location will be sued because of the big mouths and ego’s these employees have.

I had an issue where the sales associate gave me the runaround for over 2 hours. I was sent to customer service and had to wait behind the regular returns line before an assistant manager was finally called over. The discussion I had with the manager did not leave a confident feeling that a similar issue would not occur again.

This store is located very close to my home. There is always plenty of parking. This store usually has the home improvement/repair item I need.

I enjoyed shopping the nursery and it has gotten better and bigger over the years. Whoever runs it does a great job. Unfortunately there is an individual in paint who is a scam artist. She fights customers trying to "upsell" them. If you decline her upsell, she will screw up your paint incorrectly and you will notice it's all the wrong finishes from what you stated. All bumped up to the higher price point. Isn't that funny! I had her go off of my previous receipt and she still wasted two cans of paint. Until this is resolved I cannot recommend this store. This is not customer service. Other employees have been very good.

Selling misled products. The staff were not willing to help to check the product label or go to the shelf to double check the product. She made subjective statement by saying her own personal experience.

Santos, Tim and Cheeky were incredible help. In the pouring rain in the garden center - with 4 bags of mulch - stones - bricks and other items... dripping wet and these three angels came to help! Santos set me up at the register with everything I needed while I grabbed a wheelbarrow. Cheeky was sweet as all get out; kind and helpful. Tim was tried and true - carefully loaded the car supported by Santos! Ya need to clone them all! They all got me squared away in the worst of weather w/ heavy items. I tried to tip and they declined; honorable folk!!

This is just bring into the Upper Management’s about the inefficiency of an employee/cashier in Home Depot Store 43900 - IceHouse Terrace, Fremont, CA. On 4/3/19, I purchased merchandise and proceed to pay in the counter. When the cashier scan the 1st item (#672763109186 - 5 Layer Shelf, Black Color) the price is different from the price posted in the sample shelf. I show her the picture taken from my phone which has the price markdown indicated there. I suggested that she will call a Manager or Supervisor to resolve the issue. The cashier/Lavanya just stand there and pretended to call somebody but didn’t use the paging system. I insisted to have the Manager or Supervisor’s help to resolve the issue since my purchases are combination of regular items, markdown item and clearance items. She just hold the phone and didn’t use it to call anybody. I explained to her again that there’s a need to call somebody to help since the time is moving. She didn’t listen to my suggestion but instead to go beside the cashier’s both and wait for the help. I waited aside and she proceed to another customer. There’s another employee that pass by and she call her and explained the price difference issue and I showed the price posted in the isle where I found the item. I waited for the cashier to finish another customer’s transaction. I explained to the cashier again that the some items are on clearance and hoping that this time, she will listen. When the receipt was handed to me, a clearance item was not reflected on it and I explained it to her once again. She took the receipt from me and proceed to a different computer terminal and waited again since the computer terminal is being use by a different employee. There’s a return transaction and I had a receipt and then she processed another transaction and I was handed another receipt. This situation shows inefficiency of the cashier. If she asked for help right away and listen to the customer’s explanation and verify the proof shown to her, my time and her time wouldn’t have been wasted. Also, the paper receipt, etc. haven’t. been wasted. I’m a customer of Home Depot for so many years now and I regularly purchase materials for my gardening projects but this cashier Lavanya is not doing her job that she ought and deemed to do. Hoping that she’ll have the training and learn the fundamental way of taking care of the customers.

Great Staff, friendly and helpful, specially the paint shop area, most of the cashiers always have something nice to say. specially the morning shift you won't find a grumpy employee, the store is very clean and organized, i use my home depot app to find what I need and never a problem. I always find the product that need it for my job, I still think that the best asset for this store is their personnel, Great attitude and knowledge. (I remember once i came with my dog and the cashier carried dog treats in her apron and she asked me if ok to give it to my pet, of course i said yes and she complimented me how nice my dog was, nothing to do with business; but managed to included into)

Store is poorly run and the management is not effective. I found out I was overcharged and it appeared to have been due to poor management policies processes.

I am a frequent customer at the fremont store a few days ago I went in to look for something that would patch up the broken cement on my mailbox so I met these two young cashiers who helped me vanessa and charnet they helped answer my question and took me down to the area where the item I was looking for was and helped explain how it would work they told me they weren’t a hundred percent confident that if that was the right product but what made me appreciate that was that they made an effort to answer my question and look for a suitable item for me so thank you ladies for going above and beyond my expectations

This is the BEST Home Depot anywhere! You need some lumber cut? No problem! There's like five employees in the lumber department asking to cut your wood, and this is at 7:30 in the evening! The paint department is so helpful, they'll guide you through your color selection as well as recommend what kind of paint to use, they're the best! Last but not least, the cashiers, always so friendly, so attentive, and just on the ball with their quickness! I recommend you shop at this particular Home Depot no matter where you live! I shop there and I live in Los Angeles, but it's really worth the drive! Five stars all the way!

I am a frequent customer and whenever I come in I see smiling and being jolly Charneet has always been a hardworking young lady whenever I come down to the store and she sees me she always greets me and asks about how I am or how my day is going she always has a big smile on her face which I appreciate because no matter what kind of day she has she still manages to maintain the positivity and survive through she has great customer service and I have witnessed her being mistreated by customers she still manages to smile and be positive and she always says to me when I say how could you tolerate that the only response she gives is that life is too short and you gotta be happy always and not worry about the little things so that’s why I would recommend her and her service and all the associates at the Fremont store as almost all of them have always made me feel welcomed
