I work with a non profit for military families and we reached out to Home Depot for donations for a building project to better support military families in our community. The folks here went above and beyond to help us, especially their manager Joe! From the moment we walked into the store, to the moment we left, their entire team of associates was helpful and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond. We are so thankful for their donation and contribution to our local military community!

Just when it seems like it’s a lost art, here comes Joe from the Home Depot. Outstanding customer service which made my shopping experience 10x better than I could have imagined. He is friendly and truly wants you, the customer, to have a wonderful experience while correcting any issues you may have. Thanks Joe!

Mike came out to measure for two rooms of carpet. The measure appointment progressed smoothly. The only irritation was two separate charges for the installation address being outside the catchment area of the selling store. The major irritation was paying for the order. My wife and I drove to the store to return the borrowed samples and pay. The written order didn’t match the quote; items were missing. The associate wanted me to accept the order as written (at the slightly lower price). The associate didn’t have a good answer when I asked what the recourse would be when the installer did NOT show up with the required item that didn’t appear on the sales order.

The older gentleman that works the washer dryer section is always polite and helpful. I wish I had his name but his hair is white and he wears glasses. If another employee is responsible for the section’s product I’m needing, he has always taken the time for a warm hand-off. He was patient and took the time to answer all my questions when purchasing my washer and dryer Aug 2023 at the Fort Walton location.

As a property manager I make trips to The Home Depot quite often with a list of things to pick up. What I like the most is how I can go on my local store website for an item it will tell me how many are in stock, what isle and bay I can find it, making my trips fast and efficient so I can be on my way.

We had all three toilets replaced to update. Home Depot did an excellent job. My only negative observation is that they didn't send enough help, and that one of the toilets may need further attention.

Always have a great experience there. Todd in deliveries is always so helpful anywhere you need it.

I have used the Fort Walton Beach Home Depot to provide many installation services, including appliance installations, the installation of granite countertops in three kitchen remodels, and one bathroom remodel. The quality of the workmanship has always been excellent; the workmen/workwomen have always been topnotch professionals. Being able to rely upon this quality of work is so appreciated and makes life just a little bit easier.

Some of the employees are real cranky, not helpful, always huddle & talking to each other, always cluttered, I'm very disappointed how run down this location has become!

I was in a rush getting some items for a project I was working on for our work float for Billy Bowlegs. My husband and I came with an idea we were trying to put together. With Brad and Terry's help we were able to find what we needed and got out in enough time. Later I came back looking for something to match the piece I was looking for. Brad noticed us and helped us again. I was very grateful for both of their help. Thank you Brad and Terry!

Estefani needs to find another line of work because helping customers is not her strong suit. She was rude, no at all helpful and when I wanted a supervisor she spoke about me over the phone as if I was a burden.

I don’t usually use public restrooms but when it a abuse morning and you got go, you gotta go, I was very pleased to see the bathroom was extremely clean and updated. The supplies were stocked and the employees laughed and made conversation with us as they helped us. Couldn’t ask for more, really!

The paint department color matched 2 old, outdated paints with a computer program that nailed the color. Also, unlike another store, it is available in satin, glossy and other paint levels vs. just flat paint. The paint personnel were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The garden shop was also very friendly and helpful with our mulch purchases.

Came to purchase paint. Had it mixed and was out the door in under 15 minutes.

George was knowledgeable and able to assist me with my questions. He was so kind and easy to talk too. His customer service was impeccable and will be a BIG reason we return. Thanks George for being so awesome.

From your tools department associate to your check out associate, it seems that your staff isn’t engaged with your customers. Point for the product and figure it out. To your cashier Brittney who was bothered to help.

Matthew in the Appliance Department is very helpful, kind and considerate. He takes his time to explain the products. I highly recommend him!!!

I purchased a microwave, but was denied my military discount. So disappointing. Majority of staff was professional and polite. I'd like an adjustment to my purchase, I know it can be done.

The employee named George was a big help. He assisted me with a plumbing issue, then walked with me to the sprinkler system aisle and found the part I needed. He took extra time to help and that was above and beyond!

The store is well stocked and has helpful employees, they had the parts I needed,,, I was impressed
