Laughable how ridiculously unhelpful customer service is. I needed a jump starter for my car and went in two weeks ago. I brought one to the counter and asked about the condition of the box since it looked tattered and like it had been aggressively opened. They reassured me a customer only peeked inside and it was fine. I took it home and it wouldn’t charge for 3 days. I brought it back (THANKFULLY my car didn’t die in the meantime) and explained what had happened. They offered to give me a slight discount on a similar item since mine was out of stock, but that was it. No one was willing to be sympathetic to the fact that THEY sold me a defective product, and everyone involved is lucky I didn’t find myself stranded on the side of the road with a dead battery I bought from them. After the return the manager and another worker were whispering something and made a mocking and rude comment about someone I would assume was a customer. (Along the lines of “Well see ya then!”) Timing was terrible and I’m not sure if it was about me or not, but not okay regardless. Not coming back. Highly disappointed.

I bought the LED light today and Mahea she did the great job for her customer service. She gave me the good advice.

Because the experience was horrible, I felt this review was necessary. I enjoy your store very much over the other hardware stores however I do not know if I will return. Her name is Ashley at return counter. Very rude and very unhelpful. So many ways she could have said things and still get your policies across in a professional manner. Dumbfounded for why a Honolulu locksmith only gave me ONE deadbolt key last year when replacing my interior apartment entrance lock, I shopped at HD and saw on the same manufacturer lock package that these deadbolt locks come with TWO keys.

I received an email regarding a power tool that is on sale. During assistance from rep getting the tool and assistance during check out, they mentioned that I’d have to go back home and order the item online and return back to the store for pick up in order to get the sale price.

We bought this recently its is a fabulous product.

Good but kinda too bad that they leave the ladder blocking the product..

I was in Honolulu for my wedding. At 75 years young, I am not quite as energetic as I once was. I was very please with how folks in the Customer Service Department and the Garden Department and the Key Department were so helpful. I may not be a Katarina, even though I livedc20 years in your beautiful state and Hawai'i is really in my heart, still.i know and appreciate the Aloha spirit when I see it and experience it. Mahalo to all of the employees there at Home Depot on Alakawa St. Whether you dealt with me or worked to keep the store stocked and clean, you are all standouts to me. A big MAHALO to all of you!

We recently had to replace our washer. After shopping at various stores, we purchased our new washer from Home Depot. The salesperson was knowledgeable and helpful. The store offered a good selection of various products and delivery was within a week.

An working at the checkout area was very cheerful, friendly, attentive,.. and helped find open register and checked my reciepts. :) Also Maria was very helpful with information on my vertical blind purchase along with her co worker that cut my blinds.

Everyone at this store are committed to giving customers a great experience. From the greeting we got coming through the door, to the multiple employees who asked us if we found what we were looking for, to the guy cutting our lumber. And Kathryn who checked us out, and was a joy to talk with. I've honestly never felt so welcome in a business.

I'm doing renos on my house. Bronson was outstanding, so knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Tiffany was very helpful and pleasant as well. Harley was very attentive and pleasant to work with while collecting items with my contractor. My contractor even said he's never had such nice, helpful, sales representatives & he will be using Home Depot more often now. Thank you so much flooring crew!

From selecting my item to purchase, to escorting me to the cashier, to being treated like royalty at the cash registers, and being "hunted down" with EXCELLENT SERVICE to continue to assist me all the way to my car - THIS HOME DEPOT LEAVES OTHER STORES IN THE DUST!!! I came in to buy a kitchen faucet and although I knew basically what I wanted , the many choices were daunting. Booder in Dept. 27 was really helpful. Once I found the right kitchen faucet he doublechecked to be sure it really was what I wanted. He was concerned with making sure his customers found the products they wanted.
