I have shopped here for many years and employees are always helpful

I asked several employees in their designated departments for assistance and received zero help. I have never written a review with a negative rating but my experience was not in line with the customer service Home Depot is known for.

Folks are very helpful. Nearly the entire staff there are very helpful, knowledgeable AND knowledgeable about where that for which you are looking is probably located. If you live within shouting distance of the Galleria in Hoover, Alabama this Home Depot is a good one, in my opinion.

Found just the wallpaper I had seen on line plenty in stock. Store was not crowded no lines at checkout. Employees wore masks, I did too. Very nice cashier Daniel.

I bought a kitchen faucet from Home Depot at the Galleria. Got home, put it all together and found that the very last critical part was missing. I called and spoke with Allen in Plumbing at #0881, he invited me back to solve my problem. I returned to Home Depot, met with Allen, he obtained a part and sent me on my way. Super service above and beyond! Highly recommend HD #0881 and the incredible customer service provided by Allen in Plumbing!

With all the chaos going on everywhere and the store being quite busy, somehow all the associates at this store were in high spirits and very helpful. I have to call out two employees that even went above and beyond the great attitude everyone had at the store. We had to get some plywood cut and Doug was busy having customers and other associates ask him questions while he helped us and the people before us, but he was insanely patient, kind, and displayed a great attitude the entire time. This store was very neat and clean! Employees were even wiping/washing down the carts as we went in! The employees we asked for help knew exactly what they were talking about and where the items we were looking for were located.

The Pro-Desk has 2 great guys to deal with that know their building products well and do a good job. They are friendly and really do put in the effort to help you get whatever you need at a good price. As a Custom Home Builder, that matters a whole lot! Toby and Steve are just excellent and we enjoy dealing with them.

During the covid19 days, the management took control of the entry, exit, line-up for entry, and limited the number of consumers inside.

The Home Depot staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist. They also have a great selection of merchandise!

Me and my wife we bought several plants and items from the Hoover Home Depot for 132 dollars but when we went to the self checkout the lady employee at the self checkout was very rude to us and unprofessional. She refused to let us put the plants in the bags and she stuffed all 9 plants that we bought in 2 small bags and I kept telling her that would ruin the plants but she refused . This is the worst customer service provided by that rude employee lady . Very poor customer service ,rude ,unfriendly and unprofessional. Plastic bags are there for us customers to use to put the items we buy in them . This is NOT a customer friendly store. very clean store, friendly cashier, associate was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; guided us to the right products for our remodel---did not have to wait for an associate or go find one in another part of the store. Other associates were very friendly as we walked through the store and said, "Hello" to us.

Daniel was a great help

As a frequent visitor to both Home Depot and other retail stores, and having experience in the business, I am always watching for how the store personnel handle customer service. My experience today was an exercise in very efficient processing of an order purchased on-line for pick up in the store. The purchase was made Saturday afternoon, for a project that was not time sensitive. I received immediate acknowledgement of the order, with instructions that I would be notified when my order was ready to be picked up. Sunday morning I received that notification, and when I arrived at the store 30 minutes later, my order was, indeed, ready for me. A nearly flawless process.

The plumbing employee was extremely helpful. Store was organized and clean.

Needed some items for school projects, and the employees were helpful and accommodating. Cashiers are always friendly and quick at checkout.

Employees are really top notch but Home Depot is a poorly run, transaction centered organization and the employees are doing the best they can to serve customers. Last visit for me.

This store has the most professional, courteous and friendly people that are always willing to go the extra mile to help. I have no reason to shop at any other hardware store.

Paul, in electrical, was a huge help. He knew exactly what we were searching for and where to find it. Also loved the fact that he came straight to us instead of us having to walk the entire store to find someone to help us. We also had some laughs....Paul had a great sense of humor.
