There's nothing to make this store stand out for me, besides its convenience to where I live. I came looking for a product which the website indicated was in-stock. First associate looked and gave up. Unsatisfied, I asked someone else, who after a brief look came up with a whole narrative about "how quickly that product sells." Frustrated at this point, because I had limited time for this lack of service, I asked to speak to management. I encountered Tania, who along with Carlos, took my needs seriously. Apparently, the item was on-site on the top shelf. They worked together to get me the product I came looking for. While ultimately, I got what I was looking for, it was so disappointing it took me asking THREE ASSOCIATES before my needs were adequately addressed. That's all.

The customer service department has gone above and beyond to help me out. This store is in an area that would be considered of a lower socioeconomic environment and yet the customer service is on par to serve millionaires. It’s amazing to be treated with respect and feel valued. They don’t just show up to get a paycheck, they’re there to serve their customers and I appreciate it. Seems the pricing person is on extended leave , for weeks , no price is on the shelf for the 4x8 3/4" Sandyply or the 23/32 Sanded Plywood..employees with these had held devices also are not able to scan and give a price. This is horrible customer service from the store manager on down. How hard is it to price shelf items. If the lumber price is changing daily , so what , put the price on the shelves..please

I visited this store because the Silver Spring store on Broadbranch which is closer to my home was out of red tomato cages. The Silver Spring store seems to often be out of products which is frustrating when other stores have plenty of inventory. This store in Hyattsville was well stocked. Jason, in the gardening area was really helpful and friendly. I appreciated his help in getting the tomato cages for me from the stack that was a bit stuck together.

I know wood prices are increasing almost weekly.....but that is not an excuse not to have prices on the shelves by the product. Only way you know the price of Sanded Plywood and Sandyply is when you go to pay. Horrible for the consumer.

Cashier Michael is very friendly, always remember me , and put in my Military discount before I can even take out my Veteran ID

It was a great experience, I made a purchase for almost $8,500.00. Associate, Margert Gurwah was very knowledgeable and she spent a unique efforts to make the deal happened. The store was very clean and following the CGC Guidelines. Thank you very much to Hyattsville Home depot.

Assistance is generally difficult to obtain without searching for personnel serving various departments. Staff usually courteous if you can locate them. Store clean and comfortable in which to shop.

I had a main line water valve in my very old home leaking badly. After failing to reach a plumber by phone, I headed to Home Depot in a panic. I was referred to an employee, whom I was told is a plumbing expert. He's more than that. He could not have been more patient. I know little about plumbing. He showed me how to use every item he suggested (parts and tools). I had no issues completing this job thanks to him. I can't imagine how much money he saved me. Thank my lucky stars that plumber I called did not pick up the phone.

Frequently short of propane. otherwise well stocked.

Manager Shawn Warner and appliance rep Celeste are huge huge asset to the store. They’ve provided outstanding customer service.

In general I do not like HD as they provide horrible customer service and like to "point" rather than actually help you. The Hyattsville store and Clifford in flooring went over and above the other day. I was sent on a wild goose chase for an item from my store in Silver Spring (which did not have the item I needed) and they sent me to College Park, where they told me the item WAS in stock. It wasn't. College Park told me it was in stock in Hyattsville. I called ahead and Clifford in Flooring (wrong department) found my item (which was very heavy) pulled two of them), held them and had them waiting for me, on a cart when I got there! I really appreciated that extra step and great service from him! Thank you for being one shining star!

Again, I made a big purchase at Hyattsville home depot with great customer service provided by Margaret Gurwah. I like this store for having very knowledgeable employees.

Tony was very helpful. I purchased two doors and Tony helped me to find the door I was looking for. When I checked online the item showed it was out of stock. Tony instantly knew what I was looking. After I purchased the doors Tony retrieved the items from the shelf and had them waiting for my contractor to pick them up at his desk. Excellent customer service and knowledge of product. I will make sure family and friends visit the Hyattsville store.

I found the employees at this store to be more helpful than any other Home Depot store in the area. Sheniqua was especially helpful with a complicated return we had to process. Even though we were getting frustrated (not with her, but with the fact a gift return is so complicated at home depot), she was so calm and kindly figured out how to process it. We very much appreciate her help.

The cashier that attended us had extremely poor customer service, she had the audacity to yell at my husband for not understanding and didn’t even want to explain to him what he needed to do.

Portia, the sales cashier in the Returns department was extremely helpful and friendly with a difficult transaction. She understands customer needs and is very competent. I would recommend her for a management position.

My experience at home Depot was excellent. Staff extremely willing to assist me in each department visited and most willing to answer my questions. I found product , however, it was not stocked and had to be ordered. Clerk very kind to suggest that I check back on status of order. The store was clean and areas marked clearly to indicate where items were located. Salesman very will to lookup location of items and guide me to the areas needed.

I really appreciate home depot management to have a well trained employees such as Margaret Gurwah. She was always there to provide an excellent customer services.

The store is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly and I felt like they are doing an amazing job with managing operations throughout the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The store's inventory frequently doesn't match what the website says it has. Also, there is frequently stuff left in the aisles, like packaging. And I have seen employees not wearing their masks improperly, or not at all sometimes. All that notwithstanding, employees there are friendly and helpful.
