I always have a pleasant experience at Key West "The Home Depot"

Getting directly to the point, a discovery I made yesterday afternoon while shopping at my local HD was a game changer. It happened while I was searching for specific product details that would determine whether or not an item I needed to purchase was the correct one. That information could not be determined from the outside packaging of the item. So using my smartphone while on the Home Depot website, I scanned the barcode of the item, and all the information I needed was included in the item description. So I was able to eliminate any guessing, avoid any item returns and purchase the exact item I was looking.

The people are very friendly, and the supplies are very good.

The associates are the best!

I was very satisfied with the employees service they greeted me with a smile and sold me exactly where to go when I was looking for something.

Using the Home Depot app was very useful to get us to the right aisle and bay. We use the employees often to help locate the item or to ask questions about the products. The store is clean and 6 months after the Hurricane, the store is back to being organized and products are on the shelf. The associates are very helpful from loading items into your vehicle to getting items from the upper shelves and answering tons of questions.

This is our only store so it is easy for the folks there to just say "take it or leave it" but they act as if there were 100 stores and they really needed me to support theirs. I love this store and the locals working there. It's like family. Next time I shop there, I bringing dinner and dessert. Home Depot Key West rocks!

This store is always a pleasure to shop in. Employees are always around to assist if needed. Prices are reasonable and service is great.

This visit went smoothly. People friendly & eager to help. Store clean & supplies for our needs efficient.

This is the only Home Depot store within 50 miles so you have few choices. It is always understaffed and difficult to find knowledgeable help. Some employees are friendly, others are grossly rude, especially at the Service Desk. It's always hit or miss. They run out of products frequently.

Great store. Helpful People. Prodesk needs to be rethought. A while back Matt was great in helping me. It was the first time that I met him and in the middle of doing his work in the garden section at that time, he stopped and helped me find the items that I needed. He was great. Thank you sooo much Matt.

This store needs more employees and better employee training. There were 7 people in line at customer service and Lynn was on the phone while the other guy tried to take care of everyone. When Lynn was done on the phone, she tried to call over people from the returns line to get in front of myself and the guy that was in front of me. There was no attention to surroundings and they were extremely slow. I was also told twice that the toilets were outside when I was asking about product. I kept going out and looking, then coming back. Finally, the forth person to hear me ask about toilets said that those people were steering me to the restroom outside, lol. It was a mess in there today.

Love this store.

This store is worse every time I go in it! The Garden Dept. associates are always friendly & knowledgeable and the department seems well stocked 95% of the time. The remainder of the store is a total waste of my time. Either the store is out of something or the associates have no idea when anything is. Appliance department now seems to be employing only untrained associates who are clueless about the merchandise and are unable to even use their computer to place an order. I don't understand why Home Depot continues to employ personnel who have such poor English skills as floor associates. During my LAST visit to the store I asked a very nice, smiling young man who was actually working in the lumber department if the store carried "wood, (cedar or pine) 6' x 8' fence panels". After I tried to explain what wood fence was he took me to the vinyl lattice panels. Two associates later I finally found someone who told me wood fence panels were not sold in the store and needed to be ordered on line. Enough said, will be shopping elsewhere.

This store fills a crucial need. None of us in the Lower Keys "could exist" without this store. We all joke that we are there all of the time. When we first moved to the Keys a friend mentioned that she was going to "The Depot". I thought that she meant the name of a local restaurant. LOL

Home depot is the ever best company in taking care of customers and giving opportunity to everyone to value themselves

The staff are always approachable, friendly and very helpful. They are knowledgeable and mostly experienced and if they can't help or answer a question they find someone who can. It's so nice having people who can explain and recommend products, methods of uses and the best way to go about a project with tips and advice. The store is very well payed out and accessible but the staff make it!

The store was well stocked and the people working there knew where to find the products I was looking to find. I shop here almost weekly.

This store generally has everything I need (which is why this is getting two stars instead of one)...if I can find it. I usually use the Home Depot website on my phone while in the store to find the aisle for products I'm looking for because the employees, when they can be found, do not know where anything is. It is nearly impossible to get proper assistance in this store and when you do find someone to help, they send you to someone else who then of course does not know. I take it upon myself to do all of my research on the products I'm interested in before setting foot into the store so that I do not have to ask too many questions to the employees. I have encountered multiple unfriendly employees in the last 4 years that I have been shopping here; in fact on my most recent trip to this store, one employee was so rude I had to ask him to go away. The parking lot is difficult to get in and out of; the spaces are small and lanes are narrow and of course many vehicles in the lot are large trucks/SUVs so it makes it more of a hassle to back out. Is this store generally clean? Yes. Do they have inventory and different brand options? Yes. Otherwise, this store and the employees are laughable.
