Pros: This store stocks most items for which there is general demand. Sore is usually staffed with associates throughout who are knowledgeable and friendly. Store is clean and items in aisles marked. Cons: Items for which there is less demand, specifically composite decking and cabinets, are available only through special order and may not be delivered for 3-6 weeks. Although I saw nothing on special order form or store signage, there is a 15% restocking fee for special order returns. Also, it seems that 90 day return window begins date of order, not date received.

Sara at the front desk is always super nice and knowledgable . I am a very regular customer and slot of the employees that are walking around and practically hide when they see you. Our motto has become Home Depot "You can do it we will watch. "

We have been shopping here for over nine years. We have completed several large projects using Home Depot products. For each project, we have always had knowledgeable, helpful employees assist us. The store is always clean and the employees are always helpful and smiling.

Amazing example of the old fashioned corner store. Very helpful employees. Brody assisted with my purchase at 9:45 p.m. and carried the heavy item to checkout and then to my car. Outstanding example of what all employees should do for their customers. He smiled and was very kind. 10 stars

Most employees at this location do not know me, but each time I enter Matton Home Depot, I am treated with value and respect by the staff/employees who desire to assist me. I appreciate their smiles, their thoughtfulness to ask if I need any help, and courtesy to provide their time when I do.

The Home Depot #1967 Mattoon I can easily find the products that I am looking for. There are times that I need assistance which the employees are so kind and helpful. The store is very clean and their outside products are really so neatly displayed.

THE STORE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY ASSIST WITH LARGE OR HEAVY ITEMS BY CARRYING AND LOADING INTO MY CAR. THE STORE HAS WONDERFUL PLANTS THAT ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE PLANT AREA IN THE SPRING. THE STORE SEEMS TO BE CLEAN AND WELL MANAGED. THE CHECK OUT IS DONE QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY.

I recently purchased a new washer and dryer from the Home Depot in Mattoon, IL. The staff there was outstanding in meeting my needs. They were able to price match with a competitor and even got me 0% financing on my purchase for 12 months. Also, they indicated that they use local technicians to service all of their appliances, which was another reason I decided to purchase from Home Depot. And, my appliances were able to be delivered and installed in about a week, with no extra delivery or installation charges!

Fantastic store with excellent employees. The location is easy to locate and has plenty of parking available. There are employees around every corner asking if they can help you find something or giving advice if needed. Pet friendly too. Delightful experience.

You can’t go wrong shopping at this Home Depot. We drive 1 1/2 hours to shop at this store for the friendly associates and cashiers. Highly recommend!!
