The New Albany store (for many years) has been consistently "above and beyond" for customer service.....very few times have I been unable to find what I need, but the service has consistently been exemplary!

They are counting the people in the store. The store is not cleaning the carts. They are not managing the check out lines for safety distances. The employees are not wearing mask. They did not have any disinfectant. I did not find that this store was trying to protect It’s customers and will not shop there again until (if then) the corona virus pandemic is over. I’m not sure I want to give my business to a store that doesn’t think my protection is important. I’m not sure how many people they were allowing in the store. But, the store was packed as was the parking lot. I’m mad at myself for taking the chance to enter once I found out they were not washing or cleaning the carts. There was a sign at the entrance saying no disinfectant available. There were a ton of carts out in the parking lot.

Every employee was either cleaning, working or assisting customers. Home Depot backs up their guarantee for price matching policy guaranteeing the extra 10% off (witch exception of live plants). This is my favorite store and they usually have everything in stock, however they were missing toilet paper for the first time ever. The managers were helping their employee's load the mulch who were definitely not the younger athletic type but were out there helping. The two ladies in the paint department definitely know what they are doing.

The store looked ready for spring and staffed better than anywhere I’ve been. The management team is always helping customers and you can see a big difference compared to the past. When I went in tool rental, Greg, the supervisor and tool tech all three explained to me how to fix an issue I was having with a mower that I didn’t even get from here. When i go to Clarksville and walk through tool rental, I usually have to wake up the employee in order to even get rung up.

Home Depot offers the option to order ahead online and pickup in the store. This allows you to confirm that the item(s) you want are in stock and saves you time searching out the product. They notify you promptly when it is ready and it's already paid for so all you have to do is sign for it and be on your way! Appreciate the convenience of this service.

I have shopped at this store location for the past 20 years. It is close to where I live and I can always get the items and help I need for any project. The prices are comparable to other home improvement stores in the area with all the name brand products you'd expect to find. This is my store of choice for home improvement projects.

Don, (in building materials) is always helpful and insightful when it comes to resolving issues I encounter. The manger Jeff is a great guy also and he has some well-motivated people under him that reflects great leadership at the store. I have never had a bad experience at the store and prefer to make the drive from Louisville over the N.A. when I am in need! Thank you Mr. Don and Jeff!

trash everywhere inside and out. Wonder if the state fire marshal would approve of the aisle ways? Used self check out so I did not have to bother the cashiers visitation session. No associates available in the plumbing aisles which is probably one of the most needed areas of the store. Stock was low and very disorganized. If I did not root and know what I needed Would have been out of luck.

The garden center was very clean and organized. It is winter time and to maintain the cleanliness like this store does, can be difficult with not as many employees so it shows a lot about the supervisor. The employees are always helpful and in a good mood. Until a few months ago, I wouldn’t shop this store. The management team, Hal and Chris, really made a difference in the customer service this store currently has. They are always on the sales floor helping customers, even when they are busy they wi stop and ask what they can help me with. The associates clearly respect their leadership because they mirror the service that is shown.

They only had self check out available at 6:29 PM. I didn't realize I worked for Home Depot, where's my employee discount?

I like this New Albany IN store. It isn't usually as crowded and the plants and things are always nice and fresh. The people there are really nice. It is close to my home.

The store is most always clean and organized. I am treated well, and prices are very good. I'd recommend this store for most anything you need in the home maitenace/repair area.

I live less than a mile from this store and your previous management team was so out of tune with the business, I would drive to a competitor for my products. I had so many issues when managers DJ and Nick were here, that I stopped coming. I’d come in for an emergency need as a last resort. That is what pushed me to come back in and decide to give them some of my business and see if they can do their part to keep a local business owner coming back happy. There’s 3 guys in tool rental who have always gone above and beyond to assist me, and i dont even rent much from here because I have an account with one with a larger selection. I am very close to using Home Depot 2016 for all our rental needs simply because of the service of Greg In Tool Rental, the Department Supervisor and the Tool Tech. Jeff In pro sales is hands down the standard of customer service and his positive attitude about anything and everything seems to rub off on everyone else because they are always outgoing. Hal and Chris have both exchanged echo trimmers for me when I didn’t expect them to. They knew the urgency I needed mine repaired and basically told me they will give me a brand new one since mine wasn’t working anymore, simply because it’s the right thing to do. Owning a landscape company, I was prepared to have to spend $400 and for them to offer to exchange it for free is much more than any of their competition would consider. More recently, Jeff at pro sales called me to inform me of an item that was marked to clearance because he thought i could use it. The product was Miracle Gro Garden Soil. We purchased 3 pallets because of his phone call and when picking up more, I ran into manager Chris. He was talking to me about a current job we’re doing and found out we don’t purchase our live goods from them because of the price and quality. He asked if I would consider giving him what we need and the prices we pay, and see what he can do on his end and to give them a chance before purchasing. We did and we were impressed at both the quality and prices. We will continue to shop here for everything as long as you have people like the ones I mentioned working . Jeremy

I was there to buy all my supplies for wiring my new garage. James B. in electrical was fantastic help. He was very helpful on finding what I needed and showing me everything they had to offer. I know he had to spend st least an hour with me. Also, fantastic help in the Plumbing Dept. Don't remember his name, but he helped me with all my gas fittings. These guys were fantastic help.

Love this store. Employees are knowledgeable and very friendly.

Person at self checkout was helpful and friendly. Good luck finding anyone that can help throughout the store, other than the paint department. If you are lucky enough to find someone that works there, they scatter like mice when you make eye contact! Pretty much a self serve store.

The staff id uber friendly they helped me find what I needed he even walked with me to make sure I found it.

This is the best store in the Louisville and southern Indiana area.

I ordered custom window treatments. They came 2weeks late and were not like anything I ordered. Even the color was wrong. Turns out, the software they used, wasn’t correct. Also my color was discontinued. I don’t know who chose my color. The shades were not the correct ones. It took them 5 weeks to take down the shades and refund my money. I will never use that store again and you shouldn’t trust them, either. Wish I didn’t have to give them any stars.

Great service just keep it up

Not a good shopping experience. This will be our last trip to this Home Depot. The employee we dealt with was not helpful and rude. Offered no suggestions to get the right product.

My friends jokingly tease me about HD being my "candy store".....lol. The New Albany store is head and shoulders above even other HD stores. And, it's the atmosphere......it's nice to walk thru the door, down the aisles and have an employee actually meet your eyes, smile and offer to help! Yes, I'm older (80) and these helpful employees probably don't realize I'm familiar with the store from many, many rehab projects over the years, but it's still nice to know they're paying special attention to the generic group and not avoiding us! :)
