This is about a person, not a product. Agnes is a customer service employee in the Oroville, California store. We had a problem at self check out and in order to fix it we went to Customer service. Agnes greeted us warmly with a big smile, listened to our story and said "every problem has a solution". She found a solution for us in no time at all. Agnes is gracious, friendly and fun to talk to. She is very knowledable about her job. Agnes is your star!!

An unexpected surprise. The customer service was so prompt and thorough the time I spent at the store was literally cut in half.

Dee, who works in the Paint Department is very helpful and very knowledgeable and a true help to customers ... went above and beyond during my recent visit to the store ... truly a gem. I am a big fan...

Always a pleasure to walk into this store

We shop at both the Chico and Oroville Home Depots and they both have their good and poor points. The Oroville's store is organized in the way they have product organized. Generally, all related tools and products are easily found. My husband prefers the Oroville store when he goes for building tools, products and equipment.

The price matching was done right there at the register. I did not have to wait for a manager to ok it. Good job Home Depot.

I’m always delighted when I go to this Home Depot! They always make me feel like my time and money is spent well. I am always greeted with a smile and kind remarks about showing up every time with a smile on my face. I would recommend this store to everyone who wants to be treated like they count and are appreciated.

I picked out a knob/deadbolt combo and a single knob for my front and back doors. The box says, "Quick re-key cylinder. See HD associate for details." I find an associate and ask her what it would take to get the single knob keyed as the set. She didn't know and I didn't really understand who she was directing me to, but it appeared to be the area where they plan out kitchen designs and such. She said, "Someone should be sitting at the desk." So I go over and ask a lady associate the same question. She explains to me she worked in appliances and wouldn't know. "Oh," I said. "Another associate said I should ask over here." She says, "Who said that?" I said, "An associate in plumbing." She goes, "Well, let's just go see about that." I could tell by her tone she was about to blast someone for passing the buck. We go down the main aisle and cross the electrical aisle. She says, "Him?" nodding to a guy down that aisle. I said, "No, they were in plumbing." We go past two more aisles and she goes, "Him?" nodding toward the man at the end of the aisle. I said, "No, her," pointing to the other associate in plain sight, down the same aisle, wearing the same orange apron the guy was; the same orange apron she herself wore. She goes, "Oh, she doesn't work in plumbing. She probably meant the Pro Desk over there." There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that she wasn't about to confront the lady associate, but had it been the man, she'd have gotten all up in his case. There are some women you can just sense that have a problem with men. And she's definitely one of them. It was rude and frankly embarrasing to me because I thought she was about to chastise this poor worker in front of me. She got on her phone to call someone to help me and no one answered, so I just wandered away to the register, bought my locks and figured I'll get them keyed on my own. Without bashing anyone.

We came in for Christmas tree and the gentle Chris and Joel went beyond just putting the tree on top of the vehicle and wrapped the tree then got twine. Smile's on their faces and great attitudes. Store is also very clean and organized.

I needed help finding things and Terry as well as two other employees helped me and Agnes helped me special order items found on line but not in the store and got it to the store the next day and was so kind and patient with me. Karen helped me return unneeded items and help with other transactions. Wonderful customer service. Definitely encouraging staff with great attitudes. Makes shopping there fun and efficient.

Employees were helpful when asking about product location. Cashier was friendly and shared her Halloween Candy with me. Easy checkout.

THE EMPLOYEES IN THIS STORE ALWAYS SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MY MANY ISSUES OR PROBLEMS. THEY HAVE ALWAYS HELPED ME WITH ITEMS AND TOOLS AND ALWAYS SHOW ME THE MANY CHOICES I HAVE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CASHIERS ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY. VERY CLEAN STORE

It never fails that the project I want to do seems to always be in stock and usually on sale when I go into my local store to get whatever it is I'm looking for. From the green house to the horse run-in to fencing. To projects in the house if it's something I'm not comfortable doing myself they have crews to get the job done for you. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and I learn so much at their workshops.

Diane, my cashier, was friendly and helped make the whole experience great.

I like everything about home Depot it would be nice if floor people were easier to find to help me.

We have rentals near the Oroville, CA store so we are in there on a regular basis and always get great customer service when we are there. Adrian is especially helpful.

This store has been here a while now. They have improved a lot over time and have really stepped things up over these last few year with covid and all that crap.

Because I come to the Oroville Home Depot so frequently it’s just easy for me to navigate my way through the store and I know where everything is.

Support local business and buy your lumber at a local yard. I purchased 200 redwood fence pickets at $4.98 a piece. I requested for a pallet of 400 to be brought to the loading zone so I could pick through the good ones. Adrien, the floor manager told me he won't be dong that. I told him I want the nice looking ones and not the picked over ugly ones. I even told him I would buy another 50-100 pickets if I could just pick through a new pallet. He told me no and when I told him I wanted a refund he decided to walk away from me mid sentence.

Was happy to be able to come in & get what I needed. Got in and out quick & Terry was very helpful.

Marques made sure that I found what I needed. He had a sense of urgency making sure I was helped. I will be revisiting this location again!

I had an associate (Jose) help me with all my questions. They also took me to the items I needed and walked me through what problem I could possibly encounter with my project. They also went through alternative ways to do the project with a similar if not better outcome. The cashier Terry was amazing and patient as well.

Jessica at customer service counter is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She helped me open a line of credit at the counter with ease and smooth transaction.

This by far is our favorite location… workers are very knowledgeable, attentive and helpful,,, they greet you , help you with a smile and that to us is priceless

No matter which department I'm in I can always find an employee who knows the products or they call a knowledgeable employee who is quickly available.

I shop at Home Depot several times a month for materials and items needed for home projects and for my husband's handyman business needs. I love the Oroville store so much. They always have everything I need and the employees are very knowledgeable and are willing to go out of their way to find things or give advice on products when asked. The garden department is the best in town!

You have a beautiful store How could I ask for more so many items on the floor and staff to simply adore!
