Auburn and Placerville Stores tell you to bring a picture and they HELP you. In Oroville, you are told we aren't experts. They don't want pictures. And then you have no confidence in the employee knowing what they are talking about. And actually, sometimes, In Oroville HD, they prove they don't know what they are talking about. Kind of frustrating at times.

Adrian from the paint department explain to us and helped us on each visit on how to lay down vinyl plank flooring he was great and very knowledgeable

Vanessa was incompetent, rude, and LAZY. she sat in her chair with her 2 inch long nails and refused to help me with my items. Then she made a mistake on my sale item and clicked her tongue and said for me to figure it out because she didn’t know how to fix it. EXTREMELY RUDE and UNAPPRECIATIVE of the privilege to work at the best store in town.

I really enjoy this store. Everyone who works here is really amazing. Especially in the paint department. :)

Excellent customer service experience and clean, stocked store. It's rare to find genuine and caring customer service, but Mai and Vicky provided it with ease. Some people train or practice to give customers the top notch experience but Mai and Vicky did it naturally. I came in to buy a single item but was quickly told about an even better product or let's say Combo Kit that definitely fit my needs. I can't believe not only did I score on a great combo kit to fulfill my landscaping needs but I gotten Excellent customer service from Mai and Vicky. Those two are a tag team worth keeping together. I couldn't be happier with today's visit and I totally wasn't expecting to leave proud of shopping at home depot. Wow, I'm completely in disbelief that I feel very happy with today's visit. Never expected this. Thank you Home Depot for hiring Mai and Vicky. I'll be sure to tell my friends and family what a great visit I had today and I'll be back definitely. Thanks a Million!

Went to Home Depot two associates help me they made my shopping trip stress-free

Well stocked clean store with many employees available and willing help you . All my product needs were found in my shopping trip

I went in to have my bathroom vanity and sink installed and to purchase one from the store I also went in to purchase a sink for my kitchen and have that installed and the salesperson didn't have anyone at the store that could install the bathroom vanity so he gave me a referral for 1 which I thought was really cool.

Great customer service.For every question I had, they had a legitimate answer. for every product that I needed to find they knew exactly where it was at. and they knew about the product that was great . At most stores people don’t know about the products or anything about the section that they’re working in. but this was not the case at Home Depot.

We are remodeling our home , so we have made several trips in for things . From tile ,flooring , paint . plumbing ,ect. And have always been met with a friendly face , helpful personal willing to try to find what you may need. Thank you so much.

I really enjoy this store. Employees like Jaddy Price, Korrina Beeler, and Trever Reynolds are what make this store welcoming and a family atmosphere.

If you would like to feel the sensation of not existing or ever wondered what it felt like to be a ghost, come here. You will be treated to an experience of being ignored and generally feel like a burden for spending your money.

I have never had a bad experience at this location. The staff is very friendly here.

The layout of this store makes it easier to locate needed items. The store is always clean and well stocked. After not finding needed products at other Home Depot locations, I try to visit this location first. Worth the extra 20 minute drive to find what I need the first time around. Friendly and helpful staff.

This has to be one of the worst Home Depot locations I’ve ever shopped at- the thing that makes it terrible is the customer service. It is because it’s the only option in town for certain things especially when you live hours away in the mountains. There are a few employees here who are amazing and I seek them out every time I go because the rest of them act like they couldn’t be bothered. They treat you like you are a burden and scoff at questions. I’ve been made fun of, scoffed at, joked about and generally made to feel stupid by employees here all the time for Asking legitimate questions. Going into this store causes me so much anxiety and I try to avoid it at all costs unless I absolutely need something. I’ve started buying more from harbor freight and tractor supply whenever I possibly can because at least those stores make you feel warm/welcome and don’t laugh at you for asking questions. If you can avoid this location- avoid it. It’s almost more worth it to drive the extra 30 mins and go to Chico. Most of the employees at this store seem to dislike their job and the customers get treated terribly.

I really enjoy going into the garden department, everyone I have ever encountered for help has been so helpful and knowledgeable in gardening supplies and tools..thank you! I lost my whole house, garden and orchard in the 2018 Camp Fire and HD is sure helping me in rebuilding it all! Thank you again for all you friendliness in the whole store .. just a bit more in the garden department..

For a pilot store in a smaller town they seem to be a reasonable place to get what you're looking for. The people have always been fair. I had an incident a few years ago and the mistaken, offending employee was reprimanded and even apologized to me.Then for my upset they gave me another 10% off just to be nice.

Excellent Associate/Employee, Recently my hot water tank had a blow out. It wouldn't have been so bad except the water ran for at least 48 hours before we discovered it. Living in a mobile home, you find that things aren't... "standard" in any sense of the word. A new tanked water heater won't fit in the space that is provided, so I needed some info on tankless water heaters. And not having had one or knowing someone who had one, i had no idea what to even ask. Scott. That's the dude. Scott. Ask for Scott. He helped me to know what i needed to look for and what i needed to take into consideration. He walked me through the plumbing and electrical. Great information, knowledgable, and patient.

THIS STORE NEEDS MORE EMPLOYEES.

This is the finest Home Depot I have ever done business with. The store is clean, SAFE and staffed with very knowledgeable employee's! The first Home depot I felt safe walking my 8 yro. son into. Unlike stores in Reno or, Sparks... You don't need steel toe boots or, a hard hat to shop in Oroville. No random saw blades, power tools or, chemicals scattered on the shelves or floors. EVERYTHING was on the correct shelf with the CORRECT PRICE! In Nevada you're lucky if the HD's have the product on the correct Isle. Oroville doesn't have random upsell CRAP blocking the shelves or Isle's. I HATE those flimsy, cardboard, cut out, impulse buyer shelves HD puts in the isles! All I need is a 3/4" PVC elbow not the 6000 rolls of black electrical tape (stacked on the cardboard cutout shelf) that usually blocks the shelf holding the elbow I need, (know what I mean?). Won't find any of that silly crap in this store! WELL MANAGED!

Store is well organized. Staff friendly and helpful. This is a much better store than the one located a few miles North!!

I experienced the best service ever! I was helped to find some very specialized product, then walked to customer service, and helped to finish my business in a cheerful, professional manner. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!

Store location is great. Associates are very helpful and knowledgeable. Associates find creative ways to fulfill the needs of customers. I came couple of time to rent the Drywall mounting tool at Rental Department. It was always rented out and so not available, being only one quantity. Home Depot should assess how many times they have to turn away the customers and increase the quantity on stock based on unfulfilled needs.

The Oroville Home Depot is Wonderful! Very clean, until the end of the day, when sales have been met, knowledgeable employees who know how to help, unless of course, you come across a "newbee"... But they will make sure you get the help you need... I love this store!!!

Great location. Nice, knowledgeable employees. Plenty of products, some in inventory, some not.
