I rented a very heavy drain snake but had no help from the employee on getting it from their stock, nor was I helped load it when I picked it help or when I returned it.

Upon entering the Store; was'nt sure which else. I saw a sales personnel look on his phone and showed me in this what I was looking for; since I wasn;t clear. The individual was patient and directed me. At the flower shop I was shown different Mums and how to care for them. I received an educational lesson that I didn't know before. Both individuals were extremely helpful.

Elmer did a remarkable job being very professional and friendly during my shopping experience. I was really wowed by how I was treated from end to end. Thank you Elmer

I went today to return some items. I’m usually very annoyed with the customer service at the Catonsville location but went to Owing Mills and my experience was a good one. Harold was awesome!!

Arlene at the Flooring dept was amazing! She was courteous, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help get the huge Italian claypot I needed. She helped me pick it out and helped to load up in my car too. She made sure it was exactly what I needed and made sure to listen to my needs and answered all my questions! She truly gave 5 Star customer care!!! thank YOU

I recently purchased a home and was in need of mini blinds for five windows. I went into the Owings Mills Home Depot and went to the mini blind section. As I was looking around, a female employee, named Arlene, approached me to ask if I needed any assistance. I have never had anyone approach me, I usually have to go to someone to ask for assistance. Arlene then explained to me the different types of mini blinds offered and once I decided which ones I wanted, she walked me directly to the isle where the mini blinds that I wanted were located. She then asked me what sizes I needed, length and width. Two of the sets of mini blinds were narrower than what was offered, but Arlene informed me that she could cut down the mini blinds to the size I needed. I had no idea that service was available. Delighted with that, Arlene took those two sets of mini blinds and cut them to the exact specifications. Furthermore, she did it with efficiency and precision. Not only was Arlene very professional and knowledgeable, but also she was friendly and showed how much she truly cared that I got what I needed for my home. She truly went out of her way to serve me and did it with a smile on her face and a gracious, friendly attitude. Thank you Arlene for the fantastic customer care and service. Well done! Kathy V.

I arrived at the Home Depot, at 918 Reisterstown Rd i Owings Mills on May 19th to return a cabinet ( I was sent the wrong cabinet) and to pick up another cabinet that I had ordered. I was immediately greeted by a young man by the name of Joseph in the Returns department, who was so nice and polite (and, lol, used correct english. As in 'may I help you' instead of 'can I help you.) Anyway, English aside, Joseph had such a cheery spirit and couldn't do enough for me. Joseph was right on the ball to get a one of those rolly carts to take out my return cabinet and to put in my recent cabinet order and did it without an attitude of 'I don't want to but I have to.' He even carried in a few items that I also had to return when he put in the new cabinet into my truck bed. And, on top of Jopseph being such a great employee, his counter mate, Tyshawn, in the Returns department, another stellar employee, offered to help Joseph find a rolly cart out in the parking lot. I mean, when does that ever happen??? So hats off and kudos to both gentlemen, Joseph and Tyshawn, for being exemplary Home Depot employees. A rarity these days at any type of store.

When a customer is checking out, you don’t run up on them, grab their items out the cart and start opening, flipping things to make sure we aren’t stealing. I worked at Home Depot for 3 years, from cashier to paint department to front end supervisor. Excellent customer service is the best way to deter theft. Running up on a customer the second they get to the register, grabbing their items and stating, “they have to see me open it on camera” is not customer service. It’s rude, it’s accusatory and it can easily keep customers from returning.

My cashier...Ty Shawn was very friendly. I found the other employees helpful as well. Love the fact that your store is so clean, and easy to navigate. Erica McLaurin (manager) is obviously doing an excellent job.

I purchased a grill and the young gentlemen named Grandville was very respectful, and helpful. He actually placed the grill in our car and would not accept a tip, he stated it was his pleasure. You don't find that kind of customer service today.

I know that it’s been a struggle for most big box home-improvement stores to keep quantity on shelves. I’m glad that the store in Belair Maryland is getting much better in keeping product availability throughout the store.

My salesperson, David S. was a role model for customer service. He was very professional from beginning to the end. He also was very knowledgeable and was able to assist me with my home project. Finally, he took to time to answer my questions. Service like this make you want to come back and ask for him for all your Home Depot needs!

I was looking like a dear in headlights when an associate approach me and asked if he could help me. Certainly, he found the 3-way bulbs I was looking for. I am very pleased with the product and see clearly now the lights are bright!
