I have always been able to find the products that I need for the Maintenace of our facilities

Sad staff did not feel comfortable going alone as a young woman.

I shop here for all major and small purchases. Why? Because of the knowledgeable people who work at the store- AND because (HAHA) Kenneth Langone (co-founder of home depot) (who is a distant relative-my kid's dad's great Uncle) AND because many people in my family work there, and LASTLY-I received a discount at Home Depot when I closed on my new townhome last July 2021. My home inspector had a coupon! Thank HOME DEPOT for being the very best of the best home improvement stores EVER!!!!

Right when I walked in the gentleman behind the paint counter said hello cheerfully and happily! The next associate attended to me and made me feel like I was the only customer in the store! Truly amazing!

I had a great experience at the Palatine Home Depot I must’ve been asked five times if I needed help. Everyone’s always very friendly.

I went into the store just to pick up a hedge trimmer. My hedges grew since the rain! So I wanted to continue my Toro series collection with the 60V battery series. I noticed when I got to the shelves that I missed the sale for the Toro Hedge Trimmer. I made a comment, "Man, I missed the sale". The kind gentleman working at the store, (Craig, or Greg) in Lawn/Garden said, how can I help you? He said, what if I gave you 25 off of the trimmer? Would that work? I felt bad, I wasn't looking to talk down, but it was a nice gesture and I did get the product! He gets it! It wasn't that he gave me a discount that made him great. It was because of his genuine kindness that did so. He understand customer service! I feel there are too many negative posts in this world, and felt I should give a good one!

Store was clean, employees were helpful and would definitely use this store for my purchases in the future. Overall !00% satisfied.

I had the best experiece buying a lawn mower. Lou from the Service Desk went above and beyond to make sure I knew how to use it. He took his time and showed me how everything worked. Having never purchased a lawn mower before I was dreading going to get one. Lou was amazing and I appreciate everything he did for me.

Great workers who take time and answer your question and make you feel important! Definitely instills confidence as you tackle those home projects.

Just a really horrible experience. Had to wait an hour at the store because the inventory was not in the correct location. Checking out was also a nightmare. One cashier open and everything else was self serve checkout which is difficult when you are buying large items.

Great Customer Service overall. I really enjoyed shopping here as the employees were super helpful at walking me through the home service process (in this case, electrical). They also pointed me to what exactly I would need including the tools and overall, I would 100% come back because that's just how helpful they were.

I would like to commend a cashier named Camille who helped me in the process of opening up a HD credit card. There was a glitch in the system and it took us 45 minutes to get it resolved but she saw it through from start to finish with a smile, great humor and such a great asset to this company. I looked for her the next visit to thank her again for her dedication to helping me but could not find her.

Always find what I need here.. Cant skip a week without paying a visit to buy some tools or just looking (no idea how to stop myself from buying tools) am not a contractorl but just a network engineer, like to fix and repair things in my house

Store usually has all the items I am looking for

We have been to many Home Depot’s and this one exceeds them all! We just happen to have needed something and this store was the only one who had it. From the minute we walked to customer service through the moment we checked out at the van rental counter we had nothing but EXCELLENT customer service! We purchased a very large 400 + tool box and work table and they went out of their way to get us what we wanted and loaded in the truck. We have had some pretty bad experiences at other locations but this one outdid itself and we will drive 30 minutes just to shop here they were that good!

Great Service with Quality Product

I am a shy person. English is not very good either. Professional Staff will take the initiative to ask me if I need help, when I have questions, they will patiently, carefully and professionally answer my questions. They are very professional, I trust them, it's a wonderful shopping experience, they bright my all day!!!

Store was organized, clean and plenty of associates to assist me. Instore and getting product into my car.

I have gotten to know quite a few regular department employees through shopping there a lot and they are so friendly and helpful and look out for the customers best interest. I also shop their garden center all season long for wonderful plants at great prices from spring bulbs all the way through the Christmas season. I bought our Christmas tree there last December and it was honestly the best one we’ve ever had. It had slightly different needles and I wish I knew the species because it was long lasting, soft and beautiful. It wasn’t a Balsam, Fraser Fir or Scotch Pine but some variety I have not seen before and I hope they carry them next season, too.
