Palatka Home Depot is the absolute best Home Depot I have EVER been in hands down!! The people make it that way they are the friendliest and most helpful I have EVER encountered. I always dreaded going into a Home Depot where I used to live in California the Marina Del Rey Home Depot, no one was ever around to help and it seemed as if they made it impossible to find help. IF they did they made you wait 20-30min.s even to help you and where rude and never greeted you at the door. When they did help they acted as if they where doing you a favor and it made me hate to go to Home Depot and alway said I hated shopping and going to Home Depot and did everything always to avoid going myself and told my friends it was the worst place to shop ever. Now the Palatka Home Depot COMPLETELY changed my entire view of Home Depot. The people are the BEST EVER in Palatka!!! Every single time from the first time I ever stepped foot inside I was amazed to be greeted the minuted I walked in the door with a smile and great attitude. Literally the first time I entered that store it's a memory for me because I use to hate shopping at Home Depot. Now in Palatka they also have enough staff to help me, if I needed assistance, and even come up and ask if I needed anything every single time. I can go on about "Ashley" this last time I went shopping to because it was the most amazing time EVER she went above and beyond to even help me cut and load drywall and open the roll up doors to where she had me park in under an enclosed area because of a big storm she's so incredible!!! The entire staff there though treats me as if I'm a friend and endearing with so much kindness and personal help it has become just an amazing experience EVERY TIME I now go into the Palatka Home Depot now and it uplifts my sprit and makes me have an even better day!!! I really cannot say enough. Plus the store is ALWAYS immaculate and stocked up, I'm completely shocked from the kind of experience I use to endure in LA and my views of Home Depot are the BEST EVER NOW at Palatka!!! So happy to go shopping there every time. Thank you so much Home Depot!!

Normally at home improvement stores it's a challenge to find store associates willing to help without specifically having to go searching for someone. On my most recent visit, over a holiday weekend no less, had no fewer than 4 store associates ask me if they could assist me. All were friendly and knowledgeable.

These are great employees in the Palatka, Fl store. When I owned my business, these were the type of employees I always looked for. There is only one thing as valuable as great employees and this is customer relations! These two items will MAKE you or BRAKE you. Thank You all very much.

The other guy is never around or doesn't know or have product information. I like doing it the best way and never steered wrong, have to bring the product back or given the wrong component or part. That is good customer service!

We were the unfortunate victims of a string of power tool thefts in the area that had been purchased a short while ago forcing us to repurchase the exact same power tool combo kit. The manager, Mica, the shift manager, Teresa, and service Reps Alfonso & Adam went above and beyond your typical service by giving us a store discount on the kit that was closer to the original price we paid for the first kit (on-sale special price). Thank you so much Palatka Home Depot staff! This was an unexpected but fantastic experience! I do want to point out that I provided all the required documentation (i.e. receipts and warranty registration) and they weren't just taking my word, they were all extremely professional! Again, I thank you Mica, Teresa, Alfonso, Adam, and every staff member who assisted me with so much courtesy.

Alfonzo at the service desk is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He make our long drive to this store worth it. As a contractor we visit home improvement stores daily and he alone made us wish we lived closer to the Palatka store.

Overall cleanliness was good. Had what I was looking for. Some items priced higher than at other stores, some lower. Associates were not as quick to offer assistance as other improvement stores, on other recent visits, it appears that some associates almost try to avoid the shopper. It would be a good move if They would also start a veteran discount program.

I have trouble with getting a military discount for my father in law. The store manager wants him to be present to get the military discount. He is 93 years old and can not able to be present every time he needs home improvement products. We ca go to Lowe’s and receive the discount by showing his military identification card. This causes us not to shop at Home Depot for all of our purchases.

I would like to commend the customer service desk for being so friendly. The assistant from the cashier Renee was good. She took her time and took care of my needs with a great attitude. She Thanked me and said I hope you come back to see us. It’s make you feel good when the cashiers of any of the employees there assist you and offer extra help, especially when you don’t know where to find things. Great store to shop at. Keep up the good customer service.
