Bought a small spruce last July. It immediately died. I tried to return it in Sept,, but they had none. I was told I could get a replacement within a year. Today I was told, no replacement, just a store credit. Sounds fine except the current price of the tree is now double the price I paid in July so a replacement for the dead tree would be an extra $50. Very poor customer service.

I thought ripped bags were 50% off but I guess $1. Not surw

Employees are very friendly and very helpful. Purchased a lawn mower and everyone went above and beyond to help me and make my experience wonderful.

I just want to say that I'm always greeted with a smile and "Can I help you" from any employee I see. Its nice to know people care about their customers. Thank you.

This store did not disappoint. Neat, orderly and a sense of teamwork here. Plenty of eager Helpers w/good attitudes. Was asked a couple times if I was finding everything or need help. The cashier (Cathy E.) Helped me w/veterans discount this time and assured me the service counter will help me upload my dd-214 on next visit. Very impressed w/can do attitude of the employees here.

All the employees were ready to help. Whenever we go the shelves of what we need are fully stocked. The store is clean and organized. Someone always greets us when we arrive and thanks us after shopping.

Almost didn't find the budget priced spray paint since the store tends to hide it on the bottom shelf while displaying the far more expensive Rust Oleum at eye level. Unknown brand, at least to me, and not of the highest quality. Didn't NEED the high quality product.

The online inventory showed a particular paint I wanted (which the Gurnee store seems not to carry). It said there were 11 cans in stock. After driving five miles to the store, there was none on the shelf and the clerk was of little help. Frustrating to say the least. Must no be a real time inventory management system or the paint was in the back and not on the shelf. Not the first time this has happened.

Went in to get plants. Staff helped. Cashiers were kind. They definitely make the shopping experience better.

Great store overall. But they need to add ApplePay to the check out registers.

He was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Made for a very insightful visit, I will definitely be coming back here if I need anything else.

I live central to about 4 home depots and i will say that the round lake beach location has the most attentive and helpful associates by far than any of the others . I drive specifically to this location just for that . Keep doing what your doing .

My wife and I were looking a dryer vent hook up and the employee was able to tell us exactly what isle it was in.Then after shopping around for another 20mins looking at other stuff he seen us and asked if we found the dryer vents.We told him yes exactly where he said it was and thanked him so we didn't have to look through the whole store . He was very knowledgeable and polite, THANK YOU

Needed help finding a ceiling fan for our needs and we were greeted and helped by the most wonderful employee and will absolutely be returning to this location for any further home needs!

Hardware stores have a reputation for being short staffed. Not here! Staff members were readily available, and happy to help in all departments.

We ordered cabinets and countertop. Cabinets came in first delivery and out of 26 cabinets, 10 were damaged. Replacement was ordered but some were damaged as well. This went on for more that 2 months with a total of 7 deliveries. In addition, the measurement was off so 2 cabinets had to be exchanged. Keep in mind that we paid them $99 for them to come out and measure. After the cabinet issue was resolved I called to setup the countertop measurement and was told someone will call me by Tuesday to setup an appointment. Tuesday afternoon came and I called to follow up and was told to wait since it is still Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon came and still no call. It might seem silly since it is only a day delay but with I had gone through, I decided to cancel the countertop order. During all this we had extra parts that was ordered that we did not use and not needed. About to go through the refund process and noticed on our invoice some discrepancy. We were supposed to get a refund for the measurement since we went with their cabinet and that was not there. We were also supposed to get a free sink since we attended a presentation and that was charged to us. On the invoice after the total, it stated “refund owed” and instead of being subtracted, it was added on top of the total. So now I just need all of these charged and refund owed to me be credited back but that took multiple people and managers just to get it back. I was told I will get compensation for my trouble and in their eyes they have given me compensation even though the refund I got was only $2.79 over what I calculated that they owe us. I’m sure in their end it looks that way due to all of the damaged cabinets that had to be replaced and they said that the wrong size cabinet replacement cost more because the price of cabinets went up which is not my fault since they are the one that did the measuring. I know that some is my fault for not reviewing the invoice thoroughly but the designer assured me that it was there. Just glad that I finally got what is owed to me.
