I have been in many Home Depot stores. The stores in California and Florida do not hold a candle to this store when it comes to customer service!

The Home Depot in Round Lake Beach is our go-to store for almost everything we need for our home and yard. We have recommended this particular store to our friends and family.

Eric provided excellent customer service and helped us make purchases for our kitchen that we are remodeling. Angelica provided great customer service and helped us check out.

Has everything I need

The customer service that the staff offers is very welcoming and they respond quickly when we, as contractors, have special needs. However, The survey to enter the sweepstakes leaves so much to be desired. The set up is not user friendly. To enter information, you must navigate to click the radio button for next, instead of being able to hit enter. The radio buttons for answers are all over the place, instead of in one area to make it easier for the user to navigate. The developer has definitely not taken the time to use the survey to see how very time-consuming it is to navigate.

Typical Home Depot store

The employees at this store are very helpful and genuinely seem to like giving customer service! I especially like the board cutting service which other stores do not offer.

I had such wonderful help at my visit to the paint department. I was treated with such respect and the employees were so helpful with all my questions and concerns. They gave me great ideas that I would have never thought of and helped me find the product to make it happen. I was on a budget and they took this into consideration and did not try to sell me something that was more than I could afford. I was so appreciative for their help and checking out was a breeze. Keep up the good work and keep smiling at your customers, it makes you very approachable.

I was treated with disrespect from the Customer Service manager and the Head Cashier. I was embarrassed in front of my family for asking a simple question. The managers laughed at me and the surrounding employees were also engaged with humiliating me. I am disgusted to see poor leadership in this store. The associates were not friendly or helpful.

The employees were smiling on the hottest day of the summer even though they were standing in the garden section. Very pleasant to have someone come to you & ask if he can help load your car. The cashier asked also. Made it a pleasant trip to the store.

I love this store! Everyone is always smiling and we are being greeted and asking if everything is okay or if we were finding everything okay.

Phil and Willy greeted us and got us exactly where we needed to be. They had great inventory, sales, and customer service!

The garden staff was friendly and helpful and the plants were well taken care of and healthy. The paint department was knowledgeable and friendly!
