It is a pleasure to shop there.

Worst store ever!! Sells used products customers return without checking the boxes. Very unhelpful. Did not give me the name of the service Home Depot stands behind: Pro Referral. I had to go to another store, on Jericho turnpike, Commack to get the information. The quality of service and products between the two stores is outstanding. I bought a faucet from this store and had to hire a handyman to put it in. He showed me it was used. It cost me double the money as he had to run out to buy another faucet. This is because people do NOT do their jobs properly.. I am very disappointed in the above store.

You can find anything you want to. It has the lowest prices.

The staff is nice and knowledgeable. Even when they are busy, they take time to deal with me, and even take me to where I need to be. If they don't have the answer, they have no problem finding someone who does.

cashier followed me out of the store when I forgot my package.

The Commack Store is a horrible place to shop. They don't have enough employees. The employees that are out on the floor, and that is few and far between, are not knowledgeable at all. They can't answer simple construction questions. I'm not sure who the manager is but he/she is a terrible manager and should be fired.

I needed help from a manager. A woman named Erin Mainey assisted me. Without going into detailsof this woman was so friendly and so helpfulto and went way out of her way to help me and my wife. What a fantastic employee. She made shopping at this location the best home depot experience i ever had. I will recomend this location and her in paticular to every one i know. Well done home depot. That is an employee who must have people coming back again and again. Thank you

I will not shop at this Home Depot again! I asked an outside garden cashier if she could hang on to my cart (I had picked out 2 trees on a dolly) while I went inside to get paint. She said that was fine. My car was parked right in front of the nursery area, so I wanted to pay for everything and then exit from the nursery - that was the logic. 5 mins later when I returned, my dolly and one of my trees was gone. Apparently the previous cashier had left and not told the guy that took over, so he sold one of my trees to someone else!!!!! I confronted the man who took and bought my tree but he had already paid and was loading up the tree onto his van. He said he was sorry but no one told him that it was being held for someone. He was right. No one told him. The first cashier didn't tell the second cashier either. So not his fault that he sold my tree. There was none left of the same tree in the store or any of the other stores in Long Island. I checked. Because I really wanted that tree. I talked to a manager and asked if he could special order it for me. He said he'd call me back. He never called after 4 days. When I called back to check, he just transferred me to the person responsible for nursery orders, and he questioned whether i wasn't mistaken because they never had that tree in the store. I know trees, I saw the tag too. I had the tree with me for 10 minutes. I know what tree it was. But in any case, he said he can't order it and that he's sorry. So my issue was not resolved and the best I got was "sorry! There's nothing we can do".

This is one of my two favorite stores to go to, the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.

Home Depot is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. The employees truly listened to my projecy and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. They have a trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of employees. The end was everything and more than I was hoping for. Thank you!‎

Store employees are helpful. Peter in plumbing is most helpful and knowledgeable.

I had a lot of questions because of I will be redoing my kitchen. I spoke to an assistant store manager who's name was bryan Boland. He was so informative and helpful. He even gave me a few ideas that I hadn't even thought of. He was so knowledgeable and kind. I have never had someone help me like he did in all my years shopping. That store is very lucky to have this fine young gentleman working there.

This is a great store with wonderful employees. Friendly and helpful

The plus is that this location is close to my home. Overall, the experiences at this location have not been favorable. Most times you cannot get help , get someone who makes you feel like they cannot be bothered and have experienced on a few occasions a disrespectable staff member. I have had a few rare staff at this location that were genuinely great. I have literally left this store on several occasions to go to another Home Depot Store to get the help I needed.

I came into the store not knowing what I needed but a really nice and helpful employe was able to help me figure out what I needed and help me find it.

I received outstanding service purchasing several home appliances from Abraham. Professional, courteous and efficient service, which is consistent with other employees. Also, the store has been very generous in supporting Commack schools STEM programs by donating supplies to the schools.

Angel, your store's "helper" was far and away the best store associate I have ever had the experience to be involved with. He made my simple "my order won't fit in my car, can you help" issue and made it his personal mission until he succeeded. Beyond that, he was very professional, well spoken, totally honest and wonderful to associate with. I'm sure he brought those values with him to his job at Home Depot and thank you for allowing him to maintain and grow his career with you.

I visit this store frequently even though it isn't close to my home because it is close to Wal-Mart. the store is usually stocked well and I've never had a problem. however, there garden staff suck. they are too lazy to help customers even when they aren't busy. hopefully if you visit there you are an experienced gardener or know where to look for your items. if not, don't visit this location.
