Are Kids Workshops offered at the Smithtown Home Depot?

Yes, the Smithtown store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent choice for the holidays, birthdays, and housewarming parties. DIYers know they're fun to receive and to give. If you're a recipient, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store. There are no additional fees to worry about.

Does The Home Depot Smithtown offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us you're on the way via the app.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is typically located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you've arrived.
5. We'll bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
