My favorite Home Depot store in Houston.

I dealt with people on the phone. I had shopped around online and at stores. Found the best deal at Home Depot; best deal by far. The sales people were a bit disorganized but they were very friendly and got the job done. I am a satisfied customer. There are two other hardware stores closer to me but Home Depot is my hardware store!

RATING = MINUS 1 STAR For over a year I have shopped this store. Every time I come here the isle-ways are difficult to maneuver if you have a cart or flat bed Why does a store put so so many things in your way to try for sales ?? Cannot sell empty airspace ... But making the entire experience unmanageable for the average customer sends them to other locations or not even to a Home Depot store at all!! Broken cash registers and faulty equipment to check out makes this sometimes an hour plus store visit for a ten minute trip !!! Wayyyyyyyy too many times have I come and had this happen. I shop other stores now .. MAKES ZERO sense to come back from a store trip and be COMPLETELY frustrated from the just the over all time it took ... or products not being sold in this store ... online says it is ... you get there .... NADDA !!!!! The Pro Desk is a blessing!! There are several hard working people there and THEY WILL make an extra effort to make it right and get you out the doors as fast as possible ... Several of the departments are staffed with some very competent and knowledgeable people making it easier for the average DIY'er to solve or resolve problems with good answers and materials ..

overall great service with a couple of exceptions. The third party they subcontract out for deliveries on tile was horrible and broke multiple boxes, dropped without me binge there and shoved the paperwork unsigned in my pallets. Had to return. If you need help in that store, Start with Frank at the Customer Service desk. You will be impressed and think you have your own personal shopper. He believes in making sure you have the right people to help and fills in anywhere he can including call backs.

If you are considering a new dishwasher purchase, ask for Debra! She was so thorough, knowledgeable, honest, patient and did not hover! Her manager was just as helpful and patient with our purchase. I love great service!

This store is older than your other stores but has a better layout and accessibility than other HD stores I've used or am using now. The back entrance for contractors helps avoid the pedestrian traffic that requires disability parking and parking spaces near the door. The paint counter is centrally located rather than at the opposite side from the construction materials. This is a big plus. Imagine the Katy Store where you must go from building materials to paint on the other side of the store to get Liquid Nails. Staff at this store is friendlier and more helpful than other stores. I can't tell you how many times I've been at the checkout counter elsewhere and have the clerk start talking to a co-worker about personal stuff or stop the process to help someone else. Check me out first. Don't interrupt my checkout!

Employees at this store were exceptional from clerk in appliances who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to the head cashier. Best experience I have had at a home improvement store!

I've shopped at this store since its opening and have always been satisfied with products and service. Recently, however, I've needed help in certain areas and have had to search for an employee to help me. My latest experience was unsatisfactory. I requested help in a certain area from an employee in another area. The employee was very courteous and offered to find someone who serviced that particular area to help me. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, I just left without the item I wanted to purchase.

It was a very positive experience. Lloyd, Nathan , and Rivers were polite, efficient, and effective in helping me get the many things I needed as my wife and I do our spring cleaning. I highly recommend these gentleman if you need help at Home Depot on I-10 and Chimney Rock.

Jose Gonzalez and Kevin ______ mgr at customer service are above and beyond helpful. Kevin was headed to break and offered to help me unload a heavy item from my car. What a gentleman! Jose helped me find the order number on my phone so I could get a refund. What a great young man! Then he went back to cleaning the computer screens. Don't ever lose these two...they are studs.

The 6 foot cedar fence pickets 3 inches in width were of superior quality to the ones available at Lowes. The finish was superior and the thickness of the lumber was slightly greater than those at Lowes.

Jose was a perfect help. Have gone to lowes we live closer to there but we never can get any help today jose helped me and my husband in the service desk and he gave us 120% customer satisfaction. He haves a great attitude keep up the good work.

Our family really enjoys the first saturday workshops for the kids. Staff is friendly and my kids enjoy it. Safe place to get my DIY things

The associates I asked for help were helpful. They pointed me to the doors/windows department. The associate Andy at the millwork department was very friendly, helpful, and assertive. He helped me choose my garage door, load up the garage door and opener on the cart, checked me out in a quick manner, pushed my cart to the parking lot, and helped me load up my garage door and opener on my vehicle. I really appreciate that kind of service. Great help Andy. Thank you.

I super awesome experience dealing with this store location. And he takes a lot for me to take time to send a shout-out, so it definitely means the store was A Step Above the Rest of the competition! The products are easy to find and get two, and the staff was super helpful!

The Spring Valley Home Depot seems a little calmer and less hectic than the one at I-10 and BW8. In the Millwork Department, we worked with Johnny to order a new exterior sliding glass door. Since our home is '60s vintage, many things have changed in terms of code requirements, sizes, etc., so fitting a new door into the old space takes some work. Johnny was patient, thorough, tried his best to help us find what we needed and liked and at a price that worked for us. He gave us a hard copy of everything plus e-mailed all the documents to us. He was excellent. Thanks, Johnny!

I had an exceptional experience when seeking to find an exterior door to replace my existing one. The mill worker , Andy, spent time to make sure I was comfortable with my options and decisions. Due to his kind service, I was able to make a good choice at a reasonable price. He then went out of his way to help me load the purchase in my vehicle. A good example of a quality person whose service is generated by customer satisfaction. Robert

The people in this store are more friendly and helpful than any other retail store I've shopped at. Employees actually go out of their way to assist you in finding what you need, or want, take you to that isle/bay and if they cannot find, or have difficulty with your item, they will get a department associate, or manager to assist you. Always giving a friendly greeting, will Thank You, and most will wish you a great day.
