I went in for a flood light my husband wanted. He sent me a photo. I couldn't find it so I went to customer service. John and Dale asked to help me. They took me to the flood lights and said that, that light was online only. John showed me a comparable light but it was higher. The light he showed me was $107. The light my husband wanted was $99. John said that he would sell me that light for $99 if I wanted it. I was shocked I'd never been offered to cut the price because they didn't have something in store. I asked him 3 times I think if he was serious. He sold me that light for $99. Dale checked me out at the register and was very friendly. I was so happy and my husband loves the light!!!!

Gentleman in the tool section actually cared and was knowledgeable unlike most home improvement stores! You could tell he appreciated his job. Very helpful and his advice which really helped me on my selection of tool accessories helped me!

This is the cleanest home improvement store I have ever been in. The staff was very friendly and greeted my wife and I as we walked around. Cashier Katrina was extremely helpful and friendly. You just gained a life time customer. Thank you!

Tried to exchange a Christmas gift without a receipt for a more expensive item I was willing to purchase and was told it was declined because my license was flagged. I was completely surprised because I rarely shop HD because of negative experiences with customer service. Long story short, my wife drives to HD they decline her return stating item is a “high theft item”. After being treated like thieves, I’ll embarrassingly request a copy of my friend’s receipt and tell him I already had the item he gifted and need to exchange. Only to be told he purchased item on his HD account and they still couldn’t do the exchange. Finally after two trips, the store manager realizing we weren’t thieves or quick exchange artist, he completes the exchange by marking down the more expensive item I was trying to purchase. Wow! Merry Christmas to you too HD! I’m definitely putting you on the naughty list. I see no gift of my loyalty to your company in the future. #lostcostumers

The store was clean and orderly, employees were busy and not standing around but always stopped to answer my questions.

On November 9,2020 went to store regarding a sale item. Friends had sent me info regarding sale and price. Price in this store rang up different. Tanner, Nate and Dale all looked at the receipt and together worked to determine the difference. Dale figured out why the price was ringing up more and honored the price from the other HD location.

The employees at the St. Joseph store are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help their customers. Customer service is top notch!

This store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ve never received poor service.

Good clean store. The only reason they get 4 starts and not 5 is because customer service is really lacking. The cashier's are always friendly but not once have I had any of the men offer to help me load my cart or my truck. I've bought 35, 4'x8' sheets of 3/4" subfloor and several men that work there looked down the aisle while I was loading my cart and not one offered to help. I'm a fully capable man and have no health issues but it's the idea.

Personnel always very friendly. If they can’t answer my questions they always find someone that can. Always feel good about coming to Home Depot.

I had a great experience, getting a large list of wood ordered and setup for delivery. The employees were all very helpful and I had a lot of stuff that day ... it was a multi-hour trip that I had planned on for picking out many products and items.

I recently ordered merchandise online for store pickup. When I arrived to pickup the only thing offered was a floor model (no assurance that it was assembled correctly, no assurance that all parts are included, and no assurance how it was handled/mishandled on the floor) instead of the unopened product described online. No accommodation was offered (ordering the product as described online for a later in-store or home delivery, or checking availability at other stores) other than a refund (which has yet to be processed). I'm apprehensive to order anything from home depot again, as they have now demonstrated that they do not honor the descriptions of merchandise online.

Please make it easier to contact the manger or departments via the phone. There seems to be some mechanical problems.

My experience was amazing , i had this cashier i think her name was claretina or something like that , but she was very sweet and quiet and she engaged in a conversation with me . but she still helped me with everything i needed . & that made my day way better .

Madi from the appliance department was awesome to deal with. She had all the answers to my questions.

The store is nice clean, workers are nice. But they promote a 10% military discount.... but alot of things are not eligible for the discount... and then it is maxed out at $50.. we bought a washer and dryer set... the discount should have been $80. But they would only give us $50 off.. they said that was the max for this store. That is all set by the manager of the store... so every store is different!! It doesn't even apply to anything in the lumber yard.... wow!!

The associates are always so very helpful. Many times we have to wait to get helped but it is almost always worth the wait.

Just completed survey at HOMEDEPOT.COM/Survey, but would again like to call out "Madi" in Appliances for doing an outstanding JOB! She was kind and extremely helpful during our visit/purchase of our new stove. We will be looking forward to her assistance in any future purchases. Thank You.

I absolutely love shopping here. If I ever have a question, it’s always answered quickly. The staff are always professional, polite and accommodating to whatever I may need help with.
