I tried to make a stair stringer out of a 2x12. It split on three separate treads. Oh well, sometimes you get a bad board… the frustrating part is no one can refund my money unless I’m in person. I live 50 miles round trip from the closest store and they couldn’t refund me even though I have pictures and a receipt… they offered to ship me a new one… really? It’s a $31 board… how much would it cost Home Depot to ship me a single 12’ 2x12? No one in customer service is empowered enough to make a customer feel respected and valued for a $31 board… I went to my local lumber yard and bought a new board because I wanted to finish my project this weekend.

Kevin in the Appliance department is great to work with - incredible knowledge and he made shopping for new appliances very easy

Friendly, helpful associates most of the time.

It disgusting to me that company's sell equipment for 1 1/2 years and quit sell the parts.

I recently was in contact with an employee named Jesse via phone. He answered my questions about availability of an item and its cost. He even sent a picture of the item to me so I could see it. He was very helpful.

We needed new appliances asap and Kevin was a delight to work with. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of products, benefits, available extras and warranties. We feel blessed to have worked with him and will return for the next round.

I really am grateful for this discount. Without it I wouldn't be able to afford to sshop there.

The employee, Tim, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleasant experience picking out and buying it. Didn't have many in stock at the store but he helped me pick out, buy and get delivered one that I not only liked a lot but could get delivered in a matter of days! Only problem was at customer service. Claire didn't smile, talk or make you feel very welcome. That person also forgot to give me my credit that was right on the paperwork. had to go back to get it.

I have worked with the employees here for refrigerators, fencing, dishwasher, and now “tall” toilets. The attention to my needs and friendly support has been exceptional. Manager, Summer is terrific and she leads a terrific team.

Kristy at the dal's home depot is a wonderful cashier with amazing customer service skills period anytime I shop in your store, Cristy goes out of her way io ensure I had a great shopping experience. She is very friendly, respectful and treats everyone with common courtesy. Your storage is very lucky to have her as an employee. I work for the department of energy and travel For work and shopped at many homedepots And Cristie is by far the best cashier i've met at any of them

I've finally reached the point where I feel like it's necessary to write a review about home depot employees in The Dalles, OR. Every single time we go there, no ones willing to help, all of the employees seem to be hiding dodging customers, when you finally do locate an employee they know absolutely nothing, never willing to guide you or find someone who does know the answers. Today, I asked three employees to help me locate a car-cart that had a buckle in it for my two toddlers. No one would help. It was unreal.

We love the HOME DEPOT at The Dalles, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. From floor speacialsts, check-out persona, and car-lot employees were friendly, happy and very helpful.

There is always someone willing to assist you with your needs. They are great about taking you to what you are looking for and making sure you get exactly what you want.

Went to get a washing machine, Kevin was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable on the different products. Really nice to have someone to help walk you through the process.

Alex from the yard was very diligent in finding the part that was right for me.

I bought a 1/2" socket but it striped so next time I will get a impact socket.

I'm very pleased with the employees, Christine and Mo in The Dalles Home Depot Store. They helped me with the order for my new clothes dryer. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for sure.

Ethan in plumbing was an immense help!

I needed two lock sets and wanted to know if the locks needed to be keyed the same. An employee informed me the sets were coded the same and did not need to be re keyed. Very helpful and saved me some money.

Great help at The Dalles Home Depot store today, everyone was so nice!

While looking to purchase an item, and placing the item in my cart, the associate followed me around the store and asked repeatedly if I was done shopping. After asking why I was being followed, the associate said that was their policy. Mind you, I spend a lot of money at Home Depot, and was certainly not presenting myself in a manner in which would raise suspicion. Will be thinking twice before shopping here again.

I bought this freezer, only because many of the other !models where months out on back order. My biggest problem with this Home Depot episode has been on the delivery end. I waited ALLay for re freezer to come on 11/2 only to have them call me at 7p.m.and say they can't make it. They rescheduled to 11/4 I told them that wasn't going to work, they showed up anyway and left their McDonald's garbage laying in my driveway! Left my note on the door "sorry we missed you" NOW rescheduled AGAIN, after MANY PHONE CALLS. Maybe I will get it on the 14 th.??Ridiculous!! If it doesn't get here on the 14th. I will take my business some where else!

Bought a drill driver combo set, got home to realize one of 2 didn’t function properly, took back to exchange a couple days later with no questions asked. Appreciate that very much.
