The store was clean. I found the products I was searching for. I got the assistance I needed. The associates were friendly and helpful.

Torrance Home Depot is the best Home Depot store that I have ever been to. The customer service is great. They are super helpful. There is always so many people willing and ready to help. They also have great associates in each department that are very knowledgeable.

Today, ALEX in the paint department spent extra time helping me

Walked up to Wade (african american guy in door dept) who was typing at his computer. It was obvious I had a question, and he kept typing away with zero acknowledgment. After about 20-30 seconds- HE JUST LOOKS UP AND DOES NOT SAY A WORD, SIMPLY STARES AT ME AS IF TO NONVERBALLY ASK WHAT I WANT. I simply walk away and find another associate to help me. Please kindly remind Wade that this is a customer facing, customer service job. No need to get butt hurt if customers have questions.

To whom this may concern, I was at your store today, Aug 12, 2020 between the hours of 645am to 745am. I would like to say that I have always had a good experience with all of your associates. From Robert in flooring, the lawn and garden cashiers and even the company who supplies your plants. I am a regular at your store, most likely having spent at least 40 to 50 thousands dollars over the years. Today as I was waiting in your register lanes, as always your associate, today, Shar ( I believe is her name) asked if I wanted to do self checkout. Now I must say I am very much against this practice at all retail establishments . First I don’t get paid to be a cashier, and I also don’t get a discount for doing so. Most importantly, It takes jobs away from the community, which at this time is greatly needed. Since Shar, was at least 10 feet or more a way from me, I signaled to her I was waiting for the an actual cashier. The gentleman behind me was also waiting for a cashier, since he had bolts and nuts that would have had to be looked up. A few minutes later Shar asked me again are you ready? I said I was waiting for the cashier. She says there is one right here, in a condescending voice and she starts to shake here head. (you know, like I just can’t believe this customer). Generally, if a lane is open you have the cashier light on. This was not the case today, so I was thinking there is no one at that register. I said to her I am sorry, and she continues to shake her head. I repeated myself one more time, I am sorry and she continues to shake her head. I said to Shar I do not need to have attitude from you and you shaking your head at me. She walked away and said anything to me. Now, I know that this interactions is not really anything, considering what has been going on in the world with, masks / no masks in retail and the restaurant industry. I would imagine though, that Shar would have changed her attitude, excepted my apology, maybe saying something like. It’s ok, or sorry for the misunderstanding. It would have been simple and the outcome would haver been a better experience for both of us. She decided though, to continue with her condescending gestures. I might suggest that Shar needs to be aware that body language sometimes expresses a lot more than words do. This experience at the store today left me feeling not so great. I have shopped at this store for decades and I hope I never experience this behavior again. Yes, I have worked in retail for two major companies in the past, and with the general public for decades. I know how hard it can be, frustrating at times, but this display really was not appropriate, especially since I apologized to your associate at least two times. My number one reason for shopping or doing business with an organization is, Customer Service, this was lacking today. Just thought you might want to become aware of this situation.

Terrible service and the associates do not seem to have consistent procedures on how to do things. I tried to call several times for assistance on an order I placed and waited on hold for over 45 minutes, to be hung up on. Then called back and the phone continually rang. I went into the store and waited another 45 minutes to be seen, only to be told that my carpet measurements were "lost".

I have been shopping at this Home Depot for years. The staff always seems to be helpful to customers. The negative part is their prices seem to be rather expensive and many of their aisles are cluttered with equipment.

A really great department store. They have anything you need. The cashier was very friendly.

This Home Depot is always the best i find i go to all Home Depots and have to say this is My favorite.

Angelina went way over expectations at Home Depot to make sure what I wanted was in stock before I bought my outside dining set ! When it wasn’t she made sure I got it from another store to be picked up when it arrives in will call. They need more employees like her she was also doing double duty having people step up to the self check out who had credit card to pay with.

Shout out to Angelina in the front as the cashier! I really appreciate you being so kind when I bought my grill! Wonderful customer service! I really wish I can remember the 2 men who helped me select my grill! It was in the grill section on 5/18/20 from 12-1p! Great customer service overall! Very friendly store! I will come again & again! Thank you to all!

Store is a mess compared to Ganhal, Lowe's, and other HomeDespots.

I came in for a set of drills i ordered online. Had some difficulties releasing the item due to an error on my payment. Stephanie G was more than helpful & patient with dealing with the issue. She did an amazing job & was able to get me out with my set of drills. Thank you Stephanie! You’re amazing!

Today I shopped for some electrical supplies including a light fixture and wiring. I came across DOUG in electrical who provided me some excellent advice relative to my small project. DOUG was very personable in addition to his knowledge in providing me what I needed to know and buy on this day. The personal attention was what made this a stand-out experience that I would say would be hard to find anywhere else.

Waited a half an hour to get keys made and asked for assistance 3 times from 3 different clerks who were supposed to get someone to come over. Couldn't just do it theirselves of course. Never got the keys and will never go back to this circus.

I found everything quickly. Its easy to do in a clean and organized store. I recommend.

Mac/Art are the guys to see when your not sure of the type of material you need to get the job done right... p.s. who at Home Depot thought about asking for a NICKNAME on this survey, way to much time on their hands...

When checking out the clerk advised me that I need to up date my charge card, which was a false statement. I received my new card and notice my new card is the same card issued by Citibank. what happened is the clerk caused my old card to be cancelled and opened a new card causing a change on my credit rating. The card has a different number and now shows card member since 2020. THIS IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF AND NO WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS.

I purchased a ceiling fan, and on the shelf there was a sticker stating "Get It Installed for $99.00." I have a very high ceiling and no ladder that reaches the fan. Called number (1-800-HOMEDEPOT) and was advised I would be referred to outside business' located in my area and pricing is set by them. Misleading to customers to state installation prices if you can't do it. I'm hoping the installation cost will be close to $99.00, but either way, this is not right and if the cost if above the Home Depot quote, Home Depot should cover the difference.

The visiting of your store is pleasant not only getting what items i need every time, but also an enjoyable environment to have new ideas and the items we would be able to use or think of.
