Really glad this company is in business and has stores all over the US. All my neighbors and friends shop here too.

I have been shopping HD for years, from NY, now Florida. This Venice Fl store is by far the best I’ve been in!!

I was patiently waiting on line at the self checkout. When a register became available the woman managing the area called a person off a different line to use the register I was at. She wasn’t paying attention and didn’t seee me standing there. So she turned to the person she called over and said “I’m sorry sir, this inconsiderate person jumped in front of you”. I don’t need to be insulted like that. I’m going to Venice Lowe’s from now on. They are less than a mile up the street Kevin

Yvetot Coquillon is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. He worked very hard to make me happy on my flooring purchase.

Venice Home Depot provided the products the customer service we needed to finish our project!

Attitudes and helpfulness from customer service reps are non-existent at this location. I refuse to shop here with this type of treatment

Jeff the big guy in plumbing is so knowledgeable, professional, kind, and is truly willing to help the customers. Steve is the other Rockstar. Steve also is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for customers. I want to thank these two guys for always being so helpful.

I ordered 6 gallons of paint on line. after getting it home it was completely wrong color- deep purple vs. cement green for pool deck. The cashier kept insisting they did not accept paint returns (at least 3 times) even though it was clear from label on paint it was not what was ordered on line per my order receipt. when i finally voiced that i was upset about the inconvenience this was causing me and my painter, another customer (appeared to me to be proud boy type, maybe cop or ex military) while standing in line while on his mobile phone and repeatedly saying "Representative" behaving arrogantly like he owned the place, decided to impose his unsolicited opinion ordering me to "be civil." I was not being uncivil although i did express my frustration at the lack of concern or sympathy for my even having to be there and the suspicion i was receiving from the sales associate and her repeated statement that the store mixes paint color to customer specifications. I had to go get the other 5 gallon can of paint (although i was assisted) and i had to go thru the entire process again. Then I had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the proper paint. I did not curse, raise my voice or name call. The store did nothing to protect me from this man's insults and directives which included "take your mask and leave." (i was wearing a face mask) And btw the paint department was backed up because according to the manager (who was equally indifferent) due to unexpected illnesses of the paint department employees. I voiced my complaint to the manager who was equally cavalier about my complaint and inconvenience. I felt not only minimized but unsafe due to another customer's verbal assault. And I want to add at this time the paint department and cashier were very pleasant and very helpful. And all employees have been helpful and most pleasant on every other occasion. I have to think these employees really resent the retention of this one nasty employee as she is such the exception to the rule of polite helpful service. Also, I want to say I feel increasingly unsafe in SW Florida against vigilantes that i would describe as misogynistic white supremacists. The HD manager was of the view that he could "do nothing about other customers." Clearly, this is incorrect. My safety is as important as some arrogant male co-customer and HD has the duty to protect me as well. It is bad enough nobody else was wearing masks but to be verbally chastised for doing so, by another shopper only escalates ill will in a public setting.

very nice store we realize not as big as others but usually find what we are looking for I will state since my husband is a veteran,not computer literate, I am somewhat we were not able to deal with the military discount app. we are most upset that that we cannot use it any longer our comment is the app is not conducive to veterans!!!

We only went to Home Depot to comparison shop, but because they had the Toshiba portable air conditioner in stock that we wanted and because 2 employees were so friendly and helpful we made our purchase during that visit. (Nick and Lily)

The clerks at the return line are always so friendly and courteous.

I will keep coming here to get the pellets of water softener. Other stores don't seem to carry them.

The store in Venice is amazing. All of the employees are all so knowledgable, helpful and plentiful. You can always find someone that is willing to help you. I love coming the the Venice Home Depot.

Excellent helpers - Mike and Joe went above and beyond in getting another pallet of tile down for me so that I didn't have to wait for the person in charge of that department or have to drive back later.

This must be one of the few places left on earth where another human reaches out to say, "May I help you find something?"

We recently went to the Venice Home Depot and found the sale representatives very knowledge, helpful and professional that we dealt with. Judy was great, she went over and beyond and meet all our needs and more. Mike in Pro Shop was helpful and professional - great team members!

I remodel homes. I spend a lot of time in Home Depot. I'm always glad to visit this Home Depot.the prices are fair and associates are freat.

My wife and i purchased a washer.Its a sansung .It works really good. My wife says it c leans mush better that her old one,

I recently visited the plumbing department at the Venice Homedepot. I was working on a project and Kimberly was so helpful. She made suggestions and helped search for parts,which was very timely. Kimberly remained pleasant and patient the entire time. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at a home improvement store.

Please know it is the only store of 3 which we visit regularly that is number one in friendly persons, knowledgeable staff, quality products and happy employees just like a family store of years ago.

I went to the other big box store first (it’s closer). They had a lot of items out of stock. HD had everything I needed with a good selection between brands. The only issue I had was the new process they have for getting the military discount. You have to open the HD app, log in, go to your account information and find the bar code for military discount to scan at the checkout.

Twice in a row I was denied an email receipt because the cash register clerk was in too much a rush to close the sale for me to select the ‘email receipt’ option. When I complain they just don’t care.

Was shopping for a half hour - had 3 helpful associates asking to help me and then checked out with an associate named Amber who was the most sincerely helpful associate I have ever encountered in any store.

I shop at Home Depot on a regular basis. They always seem to have what I need and help and assistance is always available.

Since moving to Nokomis/Venice area 3 weeks ago This Home Depot location has been a daily stop and sometimes multiple daily trips. The staff is always eager to help, kind to everyone, very professional, and extremely helpful. I can’t thank the staff enough, I’ll see you all tomorrow.
