I ordered a custom made door that was designed to fit the opening my back door patio. We got the company that was going to install it came in and measured it at 81 1/2 x 72 1/2. After a few months we were able to get it installed when I noticed that the door was about 3 inches too short to fit me from walking through without having to duck significantly. When I asked the installer why it was so short he said he had no idea but it was probably a mistake about Home Depot we’re talking to him about putting the old door back it was already destroyed and was able to put it back so I had to take it as is. He said to get back with Home Depot and they would be glad to take care of it for us. When I called and talked to Ephraim and told him the door was very short he said that he would look into it right away to make it right for us he said that he made the door shorter because he wanted to save us money. I don’t know if I believe that statement as if you’re going to pay $3600 for a door does it really matter if it’s shorter and you’re saving me money if I want a taller door? After a week or so I was able to get a hold of the store manager Russ who said I’ll give you $500 but that’s it so I did tell him I wanted a new door. After not being sat down and talk to you about how we could resolve this issue my wife and I finally just said fine we’ll just give us 20% off and we’ll be done took another week for them to finally say I guess we’ll do that and I received my refund almost a month after I had the door installed. Please notice the picture this is not an exaggeration they put the header on there to literally cover up about 5 inches of what should’ve gone in. I just wish that they wanted to sit down discuss the matter and make sure that both parties were satisfied with the results instead of trying to give us the runaround for over a month and pretty much saying well you’re at fault as much as we are. I might be but I know I’ll never be back. Make sure if Ephraim is doing your door that he decides that he doesn’t want to save your money because he’s gonna give you something that you didn’t really want in the first place, absolutely clueless.

While I am generally not a fan of "big box" stores, I find the West Jordan Home Depot is different. The folks in the departments are knowledgeable and helpful. The front end help is very friendly

I had an excellent experience at The Home Depot purchasing a couple of appliances. All my thanks goes to Allen (from the kitchen design area), who was phenomenal to work with, and a pleasure to chat with. He thoroughly answered my questions I had, explained the benefits of protection plans, ensured that the sale discounts were applied correctly, and made the process quick, efficient and pleasurable. After completing my purchase, Allen escorted me to the tool rental area to make a reservation. He was friendly not only to me but to everyone we passed. He checked in with, and greeted other customers along the way; and acknowledged his co-workers by name and a warm smile as we passed by. Allen’s enthusiasm and dedication to his job were evident, and his exceptional customer service made a lasting impression! Every business dreams of having an employee even half as great as Allen. The Home Depot is fortunate to have the real deal—the one and only Allen!

We had great customer service tonight from both John K and September. John not only answered all our questions but helped load several heavy pavers and bags of sand on our cart, and then followed us out to our truck to help load them.

The survey data is misleading with respect to not having a N/A option when not interacting with employees or cashiers (as opposed to machine check out).

A huge shout out to Venecia and Charlie in Customer service for doing the impossible. They helped me with finding receipts of stolen items. They took time out of their busy schedule to make sure I had everything I needed to file an insurance claim. Thank you!

This store is definitely the most helpful and are “yes” people. Especially Alex in the paint department

I highly recommend the home Depot in Sandy, Utah. I was given the best service I have had in a store. They really go the extra mile. Excellent public relations and customer service.

We needed some help getting painting supplies to paint the set of our school musical. I spoke with one of the managers and he was super helpful along with a few other employees. Literally One minute til store closed ran in had emergency plumbing need. Max Instantly came forward and said ill help you and laid down on the floor with me to find the best valve stem for faucet. I said you know that’s good customer service when you’re laying on the floor with a customer trying to find the part! Max did a Great job on handling ‘my issue quickly and professionally. His positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for me is much appreciated.

I purchased a closet rod to repair my closet. I went to install it and realized it was much too short. I looked at a competing store as it is closer to my home and they did not carried the bigger size. I was worrying I might have to purchase it online and wait for it to arrive and all my clothes were stacked on my bed. I was able to return my item and was assisted to find the correct size of closet rod. The employee helped me with the return then graciously offered to help me find the correct size even though it was not his department

Associates were friendly and very helpful, especially Rylan at customer service.

I had trouble finding an item I wanted to purchase. The employees were very helpful in finding the item and helping me check it out.

She noticed I as struggling with my gift card (I needed my reading glasses) and came and asked me if there was something she could help with.

After going through the self check-out, I was in a hurry to get home. When I got home, I realized that I didn't have the second back of merchandize. I went back, explained my problem, and the kind and helpful clerks were able remedy my problem. Thank you!

Miguel (manager) was super helpful help me through the whole process made sure from start to finish that I was receiving the help that I need. I would highly recommend anyone to go to that store because the level of service that I got from there.

John personally waited on me today. His service was beyond amazing. Do something nice for him!

I wanna say to store manager the cashier Rlzwan is working so well I never see that faster cashier he was smiling. I am elderly and needed help choosing a paint color. For 3 consecutive days, your employee, Lisa, helped me with the type of Behr paint, and with colors that complimented each other. Also, when I had Lisa mix the WRONG color, (totally my fault) she added pigment 3 different times and completely matched it to the paint color I originally wanted!!

My go to for all my household projects and needs, and the staff is always courteous and helpful.

I purchased a Ryobie trimmer, used it once and could not get the line to advance. (Followed owner's manual). Took it to this West Jordan Home Depot hoping someone in repair shop could help. Wally told me they no longer have the repair shop. But he tried to take it apart and fix it. Worked on it for at least 10 minutes. But was unsuccessful. I went to the aisle looking for a spool replacement. George offered to help. He spent at least 20 minutes trying to fix it; even opened a new spool package but it would not fit. Sue noticed his efforts. She got Mele (a manager) who suggested I return it for an exchange. George gave me suggestions on other brands. I ended up returning it for a refund and bought a Milwaukee trimmer. George didn't stop there. He made sure the line would advance and I understood how to thread it properly. Rebecca, in Returns, was also very helpful. In summary, I walked in hoping someone would show me how to advance the line, and ended up with a new trimmer.

The gal in the paint department and cashier Amie were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

This store is out of my way from where I live bit am so glad we went here. Everyone was so friendly and truly wanted to help. It really is above and beyond what I’ve experienced in other Home Depots. Miguel is an exception
