Making it Happen in Tough Times. My friends in Kennett Square PA are over 70 and staying at home to stay safe from the corona virus. They are suppose to move to a new place (right near Home Depot's Glen Mills store) in the middle of April and wanted to use their time packing small boxes for the move. He had just had back surgery and she shouldn't really be lifting the boxes, tape, and packing paper they needed in and out of the car. They needed the material delivered, so I saw an opportunity to help from a distance (Texas) and tried to place an order. Typically, home delivery isn't offered on these items unless you come into the store to give your credit card. The first hero in this story is Karen, at corporate online ordering. She explained the challenge (no credit cards to store over the phone) but said she would call the store. The second hero was Gary, a store manager, who said "yes, we can make this happen." Joanne, the store customer service person, was the next hero and placed the order. Then Jonathan, I think also a manager at the store, made it all happen. First, he followed up and got the order going. Then when it didn't arrive he tracked down the problem (the truck had had an accident). The following day, somehow, the new truck didn't see the order and it wasn't delivered. Jonathan delivered it himself. Outstanding. No one said it can't be done. Everyone was working to help. Thank you, Home Depot.

Well stocked and clean. Almost always has what I need. If not, I can have it shipped to this store. Pleasant and helpful staff. Janet, the cashier, is always efficient and polite.

I usually shop at the Home Depot in Frazer, PA, but I was in Glen Mills and thought I'd see if this Home Depot had the water treatment salt pellets I needed. A young fellow (I'm 76 years of age with back problems) helped locate the product, loaded 2 bags onto a cart and after I paid for them he took them out to my vehicle and loaded the bags for me. GREAT SERVICE AT A GREAT PLACE!!

All employees were helpful. especially Mr Ken Johnson!

Friendly and very helpful staff who know where items are in the store and will take the time to show you the way. I've been to other HD's and staff often doesn't know 'where' things are - haven't had that problem here. Nice people - convenient location.

This Home Depot is so friendly and nice. The staff are awesome. It is always pleasant to go to this Home Depot.

Clean store well stocked

Lady in paint dept did not seal can correctly and I got paint stains on my coat and pants

I've been going to the store for years. Livingston and Josh, are really nice guys, and helpful. They make you feel at home.

A great store for builders as well as do it home owners.

Associates were knowlegable and friendly

The sales resources are of very little help and is dependent on their Enterprise helpdesk. The process to order a rug at Home Depot is very painful. They are also more expensive then other stores.

The staff at this Home Depot are the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered at a Home Improvement store. I recently needed an artificial Christmas Tree and Donna and her co-workers made it a fun experience. I always go to this HD location and the staff is always helpful, super nice and knowledgeable. I typically find what I need and the price is always good. This store is clean and well organized. Kuddos to the employees and management.

The store was clean and the isle labeling was clear and It wasn't busy so i got what I wanted and paid then I was on my way.

Excellent customer service. Quickly greeted with a smile and "May I help you"? He then proceeded to help us quickly narrow down our choices and put in an order for service. It was actually a fun experience. I also enjoy that this store is a lot quieter than some.

This employee "Art" at Concord Home Depot, Glen Mills, PA did an outstanding job - very friendly and really helpful ! I returned a Rubbermaid 32-gal recycling container (never used) that I bought back in April 2018 and he allowed me to return it and then handled the purchase of the new Rubbermaid 50-gal recycling container with wheels. I bought the smaller container at HD's Frazer, PA store (closer to me) and was the only model they carried. While shopping at the Glen Mills, PA store they had the bigger container (Oct.'19) and the Frazer, PA still does not carry! Glen Mills, PA is great store to shop, good people and plenty of inventory !

Love the help and always friendly greeting from the employees and in particular Joshua! He is truly a blessing to work with and I leave with a smile. Keep up the great job all!

1.Poorly stocked. 2 Cannot find an employee when you need one. 3. New checkout system is time consuming & someone's brainstorm with customer ending up requiring employee assistance. 4. Some employees gather together, chit chat among themselves, when the should be available in there departments. Bottom line, in my opinion, poor management oversite.
