Worst experience ever Wouldn’t show this store ever again

store was very well stocked with items, I shop only this home depot most of the time becasue it is near my home.

Overall, HD East Hanover #0901 used to be my "go to" store. However, the quality of most of it's employees have sadly deteriorated and deserve to be flushed down the toilet. I had the worst experience with one of it's low level employees, that had no iota of common sense and lack of customer service. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Hopefully, HD #0901 improves the way it hires its employees as we the customers are the ones who actually pay their wages.

This stores employees recognize me like I’m family and are always there to help When I suggest something for improvement they actually listen

this store has employees that are not very helpful, they stand around and look at their cell phones, when you ask them to help you find something that their website says is in stock most employees won't look for it, the best store for employee help is the Pine Brook store

The store is very clean especially the garden department and they have an abundance amount of Christmas decorations and a beautiful display of trees. I couldn’t ask for better customer service from Lou and Todd assisting me with finding the correct size light bulbs for my light fixture. With continued pleasantries from Sonia the Cashier for excellent customer service followed by a kind gentleman named BuonJorno as I exited the store . Can’t wait to go back.

Home Depot in East Hanover is my favorite store to go when I am in need of any items to complete work around our property. The staff is professional, patient and courteous.

The website shows all sizes Grip-Rite exterior screws 1lb packs IN STOCK. EVERY SINGLE 1lb shelf slot was empty except for the 3" (I believe). I should have taken a picture. This store is like shopping in a third world country....actually, I've shopped in hardware stoes in South America and they are better than this place by far. GET SOME COMPETENT INVENTORY MANAGEMENT employees, instead of clowns that play on their phones all night during the nighttime stocking hours.

Probably the worst Home Depot I go to in this area of NJ. Inventory is ALWAYS a mess. All the other Home Depot's in the area seem to be able to get it together, Springfield, Union, Randolph, Parsippany. But this place? Fuggetaboutit.

the cashier manage makes arbitrary determinations as to who can use self check out. I had 11 items, some of which I had multiple quantities. and was told I could not use self checkout. When I objected and tried pointing out that there was no sign indicating a maximum check out quantity I was told that she was the manager and said I had too much stuf to use self service.

Customer Pick-up is totally in chaos and your lucky if they ever acknowledge your presence. Just a total mess on how they are operating and disregard to the Home Depot's name. One thing I do like about the store, is they have several gems of employees that know their specialty. So if you need advice go to them but not the Pro Desk.

Do not go there for service or expert help

An Excellent Home Depot Location. Always helpful and courteous from the door to the register. If they don't have it in stock they will search other locations for you. They normally have whatever I need. Stephanie and customer service make a great team. An easy shopping experience all around.

cashier Glasmin was very nice.

I purchased a storm door and decided to bring it home myself in order to save money on having the contractor pick it up. One of your salespeople waited with it by the front door while I drove my car around. Another employee came by just then and helped the first person load it into my car. So I was pleased about that. That day I also purchased several items in the paint dept., and there were many customers there and only a few salespeople to help everyone, so I had to wait quite a while for help there.

Easy to park, great location. The store was clean, and all the products are pretty easy to find. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Leon, a Home Depot associate, took a proactive approach in helping me get the product I was looking for. This required him moving a folding gate out of the aisle, then found a rolling ladder and brought it over, climbed up to retrieve it from one of the higher shelves and politely handed the item to me. His service was above and beyond; thanks, :eon!

18 minutes ago I wish I can give 0 star. I went in this store, purchased and paid for an extension ladder with the delivery fee. The ladder was supposed to be delivered the following Monday. I called to check on the status the day before. They cancelled my order without notifying me. They sold the ladder to someone else and told me they refunded back to my credit card. When i complained since it was only one in stock and none was available their response was "oh yes, we sold someone else's patio set too". Wow, is this what they do? Take orders, take payment and sell to anyone else who wants them? I was promised they would contact me when the items are back in stock. A couple days later, I don't see refund. Called the store again. Ok refund might be sitting in the bank. But when I asked about notifying me when the items are back in stock the response was it doesn't work like that. Okay, it is ok to sell the items that is already paid for but it is not ok to notify the customer to make up their mistake even after they promised? Very not happy with the situation and how they handled.

Employees were very helpful and pleasant especially "Ariel" the cashier.

Staff were universally friendly and polite, a real blessing in these stressful times. My sole complaint is that it took too long to wait for my paint order to be mixed. Other than that staff offered help in every department from lighting to paint and the cashier went out of her way to beckon me to her newly freed up register. Home Depot is handling this crisis well in my opinion.
