Dominique was very helpful assisting with my checkout today.

Cleaner and less crowded than either the Concord or Emeryville stores. It is 3 miles from the Concord store, but the time can easily be made up by the difference in parking and check out times. Contractor parking and load out services are superior. If you are looking for something, you are likely to be approached by an employee asking if they can help you locate it.

The carpet people are the bomb, they know us and say hi when they see us in the store or on the street, they are really friendly and it shows.

The store is about 1.2 miles from my house and usually have what I need.

My experience started by phone with Marlyce. She took me through facilitating my assembly. I then drove to the store to pay and met her in person. She was very friendly and saw me through the rest. What should have been a turn down experience due to last minute request was so easy. The store had what I needed and the staff to assemble in a short time frame. thank you Martinez Home Depot!

Clean well organized store with very friendly staff. Much quicker shopping then Concord location. Sometimes shortage of supplies.

Sharp, clean store with knowledgeable aisle people. When I made a $275.00 purchase, the checker asked me if I was a vet. (yes). After I showed her an old dog eared discharge ID, (almost 60 years old), she applied a 10% discount to the purchase, and said "Home Depot thanks you for your service". Amazing!! Who would of thought that after all that time passage, the fact that I was a Navy vet, would still count.

This was the first time visiting the Martinez store. The reason for the visit was they had items in stock. I didn't want to order online and wait for the products to come to my regular store. Being the first time visit, I was very surprise to get in and out in a short time after I purchased my items. Like I said I was in and out, didn't get a chance to notice how clean the store was. I was greeted by the associates and were helpful in directed me to the right dept. My associate who help me, Donte Holley, in plumbing was very friendly and very helpful. I would like the manager of the Martinez store to acknowledge Donte Holley in some way for being a professional in handling my concerns. A very satisfied customer.

All the employees are friendly and helpful. The shelves are usually fully stocked, and if they are not the special order desk is always willing to help. The truck rental is usually quick and painless, plus they'll help you load up if it's oversized or heavy. It's my favorite home depot to go to... at least WAY better then the Concord one!!!!!

The store associates are always available and willing to assist. Items needed are always in stock.

Incompetent and unfriendly employees. Customer service is not even on this store’s radar. Good store if you know what you want/need. But if you need help or a special order, you’ll probably end up disappointed.

At first I was unable to locate a display model of a type of chandelier I was looking for. But Ashley in the lighting department was great!! She went WAY BEYOND in helping me locate a perfect chandelier that we ended up finding on line and additional glass shades to complete my selected look for the room. Now that is what I call "Customer Service"!!!!

My experience which began in November of 2017 and has not been resolved yet as of March 2018 stemmed from multiple staff mistakes and resulted in living inconveniences.

We had opportunity to visit this store this past weekend. We visited several different areas.....paint, rugs, blinds, household appliances and cleaners, etc. We came across several different team members along the way and each one was extremely helpful and friendly. I haven't always found this to be the case in this store, and so I felt compelled to write this in case you haven't been here in a while - give it another try. We had help in every place we needed it, and the team members not only pointed us in the right direction, but took us where we needed to go and made sure we got what we needed. They were friendly and courteous each time. On the front end, we were pulled on our way to pay and the customer service person checked us out since she didn't have anyone in line. That was the icing. It was a great experience, and we will be back.

Store itself is fine and employees are generally terrific, but self-checkout is inconvenient and too often does not work or simply takes too many tries to get the faulty equipment to accept credit cards.

This was Black Friday. I lined up at 5:00a.m. like everyone else to get the Christmas Poinsettia flowers that were on sale. When the door opened we moved but heard noise behind us and found that an employee had opened a back door and the people who just got there beat everyone that had been waiting for an hour to the flowers. People were cutting each other off and some people who were waiting there at 5:00a.m. didn't get flowers. Not cool! Normally this is a fun experience where we go in an orderly fashion with our carts and get our flowers. I was going to continue shopping but I was annoyed and left. Very poor decision on the employee who decided to open that back door. You ruined the day.

Nice store, easier access here than at the other one in Concord.
