The store is very easy to get to. It’s clean and organized as well as having employees that go above and beyond to help you sharing their knowledge with you and make your task much easier to do and make sure you only have to do it one time.

I'm handy but by no stretch a handy man. Every time I come to this location I receive top notch help and direction. I will not go to another location.. There are times on my way home I pass 2 other Home Depots and go a bit out of the way to visit this one because of it.

I mentioned all this in the general questions, but I was so impressed with the small size evergreens available for planting in 2 big outside pots. There was a variety of these type outside evergreen plants. Also was able to find smaller Christmas items that didn't even know you carried. This was a small package of battery powered (timer) LED lights - 9 ft - that I could wind into an outside door wreath. It's just fun to look around in this store and come upon some nice surprises!! The checkout associate was so pleasant and helpful which always true in this store!

The Salesman in Appliances was great with information that I needed to purchase a new washing machine, after thirty years. I had looked online first, but wanted some human contact and information. Linda the Cashier showed me how to save even more on my purchase. Great! .

I have been going to the Matthews store for over 19 year. Al I would like to say is that all of the people that work there have on thing in common. Customer Service and making sure you find what you need to make your stop there one of the best you ever have. Also to make sure you get all of the things you need for the project that you trying to do. Without going back and forth. The people that they hire in each department is the best tradesmen or tradeswoman that you can find. Customer care department MS MIRANDA made my day a great one that could have been bad. But she turned my Frown UPSIDE DOWN to a great smile . Thanks to all that work for the store. Brian

An amazing experience at this store. Mike in the rental department went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my new lawn mower tractor home. We needed to rent a trailer and he made sure we had everything needed to make this expensive decision as smooth as possible. I wish there was an employee like Mike at my grocery store, department store or any place I spend money because he made us feel like we were his only customer. THANKS MIKE!!!

Great store phenomenal staff

I had to evacuate from the hurricane Florence area...Wilmington, NC. I knew there would be nothing left in the stores in Wilmington. So I loaded up with storm stuff at the Matthews store #3602. When I got to the store they were unloading a truck load of Ryobi 6500Watt generators and five gallon gas cans. What a sight ! Didn't hesitate for a second. Had two employees put one on a pallet. Ended up spending $1,800.00 and happy to do it. One stop...everything I needed...no driving around. I thanked every employee that helped me. Management really had the whole crew on High Alert.

I was trying to find a hardwood which would look good plus understand what I was purchasing. Janet, Shawn West and Matt Reichle provided excellent assistance in my expensive purchase. I will be returning for future purchases. Thank you Home Depot Store 3602.

Listen...the reason I probably won't shop in this store again is that I'm from Wilmington, NC...ground zero for hurricane Florence. We left Wilmington and came to Matthews to save our necks. If there is a house to go back to I will have the necessary stuff to get it back in shape. None of the items I bought in Matthews will be available in Wilmington.

I always like shopping at this store as everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable and the store is always clean.

Came in to buy paint for a rental home white hair guy at paint desk had no business and never even looked up to ask for help. I had to ask him 3 times for help and to top it off, I had to still ask for paint opener and stirrer.Bad business for a large operation like Home Depot.

Wonderful, clean and well=organized store, with warm, friendly, helpful staff. Everyone was smiling and went out of their way to help us find the items we were shopping for. Not only did they tell me the aisle number, but took me to the aisle and helped me find EXACTLY what we were looking for. And after all that, they honored my military career with a discount on all my purchases. I love Home Depot!

I needed an odd screw to complete a repair on a ceiling fan. I could not find the right one anywhere because the head needed to be countersunk and though you could find the same size the screw would not work because of that. I went to this store and found someone to help me within a couple of minutes of entering. He was courteous and really went through all the sizes available but we kept coming up short. When I mentioned what I needed it for he suggested we go to the electrical department and search there. I would not have thought of that on my own. After more searching he found me the last package of the exact screws for the job. This was a tiny purchase and yet he treated me like the most important customer ever. His name is Brad and he really is versed in customer service. I would recommend this store any day because a store with employees like Brad deserves to be recommended.

Ordered window blinds from a very knowledgeable sales lady, however, that is when the problems began. Order to have installer come out and measure was not placed until I called several times to inquire why I had not heard from anyone. Installer finally came and measured. I went back into the store to get the final quote and pay. Was notified within a day that blinds were cut and ready to be picked up. Picked up blinds which took 30-40 min. for order to be located. Waited to be contacted for installation and finally called to discover the order for installation had never been placed. Home Depot has my money and I am going to have to wait another week to get installation. Don't bother ordering anything that needs to be installed unless you have the time and patience to continually follow up.

The employees there have always been helpful The last visit BC gathered my items and loaded them into my car. Monika was the cashier and she was very helpful, unlike the employees on Albemarle road store.
