I recommended only because this store has quite often had everything I needed to do the job. Most of the employees are helpful and friendly and a couple of them go above and beyond. The down side of the place is that there is always material in the aisles that is waiting to be put away. The people that are responsible for restocking material in millworks, lumber and plywood, etc. don't seem to care about the ease of customers trying to navigate the store with a cart of material. Also, the people responsible for inventory don't seem to notice when a majority of the material in a particular area of building materials is warped, damaged, or completely unusable. If you are like me and have a long drive to get to the store, it can be very frustrating to find that 20 out of 25 units of material that you need, is unusable. Finally, as is the case with just about any store that you go into nowadays, they do not have enough cashiers at registers. They will have one register open, with two or more cashiers that are not at registers, but monitoring people at self checkout. Sadly, I must say that overall they are a bit better than their competitors. For all of their shortcomings, I still prefer to shop there than at their competitors.

So helpful, very knowledgeable and always ready to help in any way they can.

Great customer service

Shout out to cashier Jenny she was so sweet and informative with our credit application! The store was clean and a bit hot that day. We were able to find what we needed anyway. Well be going back sooner rather than later!

I was in the store on 6/15/21. I wanted to purchase several items. Got up to the register and some items didn’t have prices on them. The cashier told me if I wanted to purchase them I would need to go back and get the prices for the items that your store didn’t put a price on. The cashier was rude and condescending. She also did the same thing to a customer before me. Which made us wait in line for about 30 minutes for the other customer to go find the prices for her items. I understand I’m just one customer. But I have a review page for Victoria that I posted this on. And over 100 other customers commented saying the same thing had happened to them. So I would like to get paid for an hour of work at your store. The time it took me to go find my own prices for my items. How dare a cashier treat a customer in this manner and to treat the elderly customer before us was just a Total disgrace!!!!

Associates are friendly and helpful. Every department i went was helpful and ready to answer any questions i had about the product i was searching for. They made my shopping easier. I didn't have to look for assistance. There attentiveness did not go unnoticed. Thank You Home Depot.

The Home Depot is typically less crowded than the other home improvement store here, and the parking spaces are less cramped. The employees are friendly and helpful as well.

Prices higher than Houston stores. Not many clearance items. No scratch and dent appliances. Hard to find a working employee to help.

Nate, in the lumber department offered to cut the boards we needed for a new boardwalk for my parents’ house. My husband and I were talking out loud and Nate thought we needed 4 boards cut. When we finished the math, and realized we needed 30 boards (cut into 4 pieces), he didn’t flinch. He got the job done, and saved us a few hours! Nate took the time out to help us, even though he was working alone in the department. His attitude made this visit a 50 out of 10. Seriously, can’t thank him enough. Nate, you are an angel!

HD Victoria is my go to store for all of my materials and paints for my various projects, I have also used them for all of my landscaping needs. The strength of this store is its employees, I have never had a single associate that did not take the time to make sure that I got what I needed and gave me advice on how to do the job properly.

Lois and Chris go above and beyond to help you. If they don't have the answer right then you will get a call with your answers. Oh and be sure to check the clearance at the end of the isles for those bargains.

I had a terrible experience. They could not track an order to save their life. None of their tracking numbers worked. And just because they say the order has arrived and is complete does not mean it is there and complete. They only know what the computer says and have no clue if the information is correct. I spent several trips and wasted calls to find out they have no problem solving skills and customer service respect! They embarrassed me at the customer service counter when they accused me of having an account problem but it turned out it was the transaction that was the problem. Their errors blocked my card and I had to call customer service. I will be canceling my home depot account and never spending a dime there again!

I almost left your store today frustrated and without the item I came to purchase. An employee named Michael took it upon himself to help me after I asked if he could find someone to retrieve a large item from the top shelf. I had requested the same from customer service and was forgotten, I guess. Michael was helpful and polite! Because of him, I left with my items and will return.

The store is clean and organized. The employees are helpful, though you may have to wait your turn. The cashier at the pro desk though is young and spent more time flirting with a coworker than necessary. Time is money...
