This Behr Latex Cedar Nauraltone weatherproofing stain was fantastic.I used it on my new back fence. It covered very easily and was easy to clean up afterward. A lot better than using oil based stain!! The color is magnificent as you can tell by the attached picture. Plan on doing the old side fences with this product next year.

This wood finish is great for a good color and protection. We have used on our fence that was built just a few weeks ago.

#501 Cedar Naturaltone Transparent Weatherproofing Wood Finish
This is what I stained my cedar wood fence with about 3 years ago. It still looks good and my son liked it so well we stained his fence with it. He took pictures and told his coworkers about it and they used it on their wood fences. I added to my fence and the old stain looks as good as the fresh stain. You can't tell them apart. I highly recommend this on a new wood fence or if you are doing an old wood fence. It is very long lasting and looks great.

Many years ago I painted houses and sealed decks as a professional, so I know what I'm doing. If I could turn back time to July 2015, I would buy a different product than #501.
5 years ago I stripped the deck at our new house and resealed it with a different product. Last year, it was starting to look beat up so I bought this product to redo the floor and horizontal guard pieces. The vertical guard rails and rim joists still didn't need to be redone.
The old stain/weather sealer was so good I had a hard time getting it all off. I had to strip it twice, then pressure wash it. Then hand sanded the deck down to get rid of the excessively weathered wood. It looked great. Then I sealed it twice with this #501 product, the the shade, covered by a pop-up shelter, when it wasn't warmer than 80 degrees. It seemed like it went on easy with a roller. No problems.
One year later, the deck floor looks terrible and the horizontal guards aren't much better. It's worn to the wood in so many places as to look embarrassing. The stain performance was far worse in one year than than after 4 years of the prior product I use. I really wish I would have made another choice and saved myself the 30 hours it took to look this terrible so fast.

We intended to purchase a custom color but when the store couldn't get the color even close to the desired shade, we switched to the natural cedartone pre-mixed stain. I would highly recommend going this route because you know you're getting the right color. The gentleman in the store gave me detailed directions on how to prep the wood and stain. It turned out beautifully. Easy to use and looks great. I can't say how well it will hold up to the weather yet, though.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ted Provides good coverage. Easy to clean out using water and soap. Was a bit difficult to apply to vertical balusters of deck railing.
