This is a sand color but can be painted. However, no way I'd use this for a countertop because of my experience with the product.
You'd be best off using an epoxy putty that is more water resistant and flexible for that kind of surface. You could also try a white bondo that is used for car repair, that would probably work a lot better

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by barely usable I should have read the reviews before using this on a scratch built cabinet project. The product is way too difficult to manipulate into holes from an 18ga brad. It's like trying to spread frozen butter on a slice of wonder bread. It just sticks to itself and pulls itself out of the hole. Also, you have to account for shrinkage. So, it drags itself out of the crevice, leaving a slight detent in the surface. Then, it shrinks even more. Leave it on the shelf and get something else. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by For the professional I have been a cabinet maker for 20 years. This is by far one of the best wood putties i have ever used! It's about speed in my line of work and this is the fastest drying putties out there! June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Waste Your Money This stuff is the worst I have ever used. Compared to Elmer's Wood Putty it's not even close. Don't waste your money or time. Takes forever to dry, crumbles, cracks, like using thick syrup. HD dropped Elmer's Wood Putty very disappointed in there decision. I ended up remove the junk and when purchased some Elmer's Wood Putty it so much so much better. Dries quick, harder, stronger, takes least layers to repair deeper holes stays in place when curing. I replace a fairly deep hole on my front porch over 7 years ago it's still there. I attempted to repair a much smaller hole with this stuff. Had to remove and replace with Elmer's all good as usual. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible product This product is absolutely terrible. I should have read other reviews before purchasing. After extensive stirring I still found it to be to soupy. Then after spreading it dries too quickly and crumbles as noted by other reviewers. June 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Stainable Product is very dry and crumbly. It says that it is stainable, but it actually repelled the stain. Do not buy! It completely ruined a project for mother's day. May 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nightmare of a product to work with Product stiffens and crumbles within seconds of application. Putty knife makes it worse. At best you can smear excess into holes and hope it sands smooth. June 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible I bought this to fill in the nail holes on the trim around our new laminate floor. This product, stirred thoroughly, is a hard, crumbly mess. I ended up applying it with my finger, and now I'll have to go back and sand every spot because of the crumbly texture. It does not work like you would expect. Another reviewer called it "Play-doh dropped in sand" which is a perfect description! Also, I never submit reviews, but this was so bad, I thought others should know. August 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I needed This review may have been better, Accept my application was somewhat experimental and I did not know if it would work in the first place. This review is mainly to inform others with a similar application. this is an exterior rated product, I tried using it to fix some dry rot on my fascia boards. I applied the min-wax wood hardener first and then used this over it. Once dry, I sanded it....sands very nicely, then painted with exterior paint....takes paint very well too. However, 3 weeks later the wood filler popped loose from my fascia........long story short, I just ended up replacing the bad sections of fascia. This is the result I had expected, but I often try experiments like this, just to see what happens. I only give this a "GOOD" rating because the product does not offer a complete exterior application. I think the PC WOODY Product sold online may be a better product for my type of application (that is yet to be seen), but you can never go wrong with just replacing your wood when possible.
